Virtual Run | Race the Steam Train | Avon Valley Railway, England | 4K POV Treadmill Scenery 

Haha thank you, well to be honest I was on a bike! This is the only virtual 'run' video I've filmed on a bike, but the train goes up to 25mph - as fast as Usain Bolt! So my only chance was to ride alongside it. Hopefully it still works as treadmill running scenery?

​@SwiftTrailsTV haha, I guess it could only be Superman who could run as fast as a train....I enjoy your videos for the beautiful scenery, and I hope to be able to start running soon. Right now, I can only run for a short period of time or just walk really fast.

@@risa4781 it's awesome that you want to start running and it sounds like you've already made a great start. I think anyone can do it and the benefits are so worthwhile, especially for our mental health. I actually started making a couch to 5k treadmill training series designed for people who have never run before. The first video (week 1) went live yesterday and it's just 30 seconds of running with 60 seconds walk between - the idea is to go really slow to start with. I'd love to know how you get on if you decide to give it a try.

Thank you 🤗 I thought it would be a really good idea... and it was hard work trying to keep up with that train! But the video seems to be a flop so far... it's performing much worse than my other videos.

@@SwiftTrailsTV well, that's people for ya. maybe next time you could give it a click-baity title, like, "man races train" or "faster than a steaming train" or "man races train and wins" or something like that. i'm no expert on these new-fangled ways, but people nowadays seem to like that kind of thing. i was thinking while watching how absolutely tired-out you must have been after all those races! that's what you can call it: "man nearly dies racing train" heaven forbid!

​@@hellie_elI always struggle with video titles, I feel like it's the hardest part! I use a standard format for most of the videos on this channel, but on my vlog channel (Craig Bridges) every video is different, so trying to think of a title is tiring! I've tried click-baity titles in the past and they often don't work! Also, I need to 'retain' my viewers, so someone coming to watch a man vs a train would only watch a few seconds or minutes, but someone looking for treadmill scenery would watch more (while they run/walk/cycle). That last 'round' is actually slightly uphill, into a headwind, my legs were tired by then plus the drivers purposely went faster to beat me that time! I had a chat with them each time they shunted the train.
