Thanks for putting this out there. I'm fortunate that I already have a P100 in my welding gear, and was able to use that for my bird bath project. Granite dust is nasty stuff indeed.
The dust is permanent and truly deadly. It's unavoidable to inhale some because of incidental transfer after you leave the working environment. It gets into your clothes, then upholstery in vehicle and home, then puffed into the air when you sit on a seat or take off your clothes.... very sinister stuff. How much you breathe can be mitigated by safe practices. I'm sure I have dust, but that's just part of doing this for a living.
