Spending a day in Jaisalmer without a fixed iternary turned out to be a very good idea. It gave plenty of time to relax and absorb the life of Jaisalmer. In the morning we started with a walk in the streets of Jaisalmer fort area without entering in the royal section. Just to feel the life of the fort area. From here we headed towards gadisar lake crossing market and various streets. had our lunch close to Gadisar lake and went for a boat ride. There is a very beautiful Pal area in the lake. One can sit there for hours. After relaxing there and later in the hotel we headed towards Sam Sand dunes in the evening. Sunset by the sand dunes was superb. Folk artists Mr. Dharu ram ji played beautiful Alghoza sitting on the sand dunes which made the evening heavenly. There are very few Alghoza players left now in the area, he told us. It was a very nice evening.
