Today's Virtual Tour is per special request of some wonderful folks we're helping relocate to Colorado that are specifically interested in some northern suburbs and closer to Fort Collins, sprecifically Longmont. Longmont is a massive area, with a cute, modest city, with tons of suburban ammenities, and a wide variety of homes from historic to epic new builds with glorious Colorado views.

Grew up there in the late 60s, population like 30k, now it's a friggin zoo. Still one of the most beautiful places around.

There are very few jobs. Most people have to commute. Then you have to commute in the snow parts of the year. 45 minute commutes turn into 90 commutes.

I grew up in Longmont. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I haven't been there in over 20 years, but one of these days I'll swing back through. Especially after I discovered I have family living in Greeley.

A couple other little suburbs of Longmont/Denver are Frederick and Firestone. Firestone basically touches Longmont's southeast side and Frederick is right behind it. We live in Frederick and we go to Longmont for everything, and our drive to Denver is a little bit shorter than if we lived in Longmont. Especially since Frederick/Firestone are right off the interstate.

This video is very well done. Bravo. I grew up in Thornton and moved to Longmont in 2017 Small town feel, but inclusive to the metro area, It's a perfect balance. Amazing place to live!!

Any chance you guys have boundary maps? I'd love to see what all is considered Longmont or boulder etc.

The boundaries are always very strange! We use google maps for this actually! Other map sites don’t do this very well, but if you type “Longmont Colorado” into google maps on a phone or laptop it’ll show you the boundary. By the way, I promise this is not meant to sound snarky in a “just google it” kind of way. But truly, google maps is the best resource we’ve found for borders of all these areas :)

@@welcometodenver Not snarky! I understand. xD I was asking because the first thing I did was google map it and nowhere does it equal 40 miles, so I was pretty confused!
