@@tanayasingh7247It depends alot . But as you mentioned ( historical places specifically) then also there are 2 scenarios. 1. You want to only visit there ( historical places )- maybe 10-12 days 2. You want to visit historical places as well as explore panjab’s culture , experience day to day life of panjabi , want to travel in cities local area like shopping at local shops , eating at local dhabas and restaurants . It would take atleast a month

How someone could forget kiratpur Sahib city, land of 7th Guru Sahib , built by 6th Guru in Punjab . It is such a beautiful city , mixture of lush green forests, wetlands , mountains , freshwater rivers,flowing through the city and old major historical gurudwaras present in between such greenery, rivers and wetlands . The shooting of movie veer zaara was done near this city .

I am from Chandigarh and lived most of my life in this city (birth, school, college, first job).......then in Sydney, Australia and now in London, UK for last few years........if or when I came back to India permanently, I might want to consider living in Amritsar.......besides Chandigarh, Amritsar is my favourite city of Punjab and I feel Amritsar represents Punjabi culture more closely than Chandigarh where it is sort of diluted due to its proximity with neighboring state and its influence
