In this episode, Noel Salas explains what a coaching lesson with him involves and sets the stage to invite North Floridian surfer Eric Petersen to join him for a lesson. Eric, being an advanced level surfer, meets up with Noel at Waco Surf. Noel videos Eric’s session and begins to critique his surfing. He dives into areas where Eric can improve his Roundhouse Cutbacks and Frontside Snaps. Noel breaks down what it looks like to get proper extension and compression as well as weight distribution and proper body mechanics. Noel then brings it a step further and shows you practical application on your Slide Surfskate where you can increase power, speed, and flow in your surfing.
