On a blank Grasshopper panel drag and drop the ODS -> Registration Key component (with an icon of a key), Connect a Panel component to the output called "status", this should give you a message indicating the status of the license and also a copy of the instructions below in case you need to acquire a new license. Connect a Panel component to the output called "local credentials". Right-click on the panel showing the output from "Local Credentials" and select "Copy Data Only" Go to "ods-engineeringDOTcom/tools/ods-swift/license/key" and paste the key into the text-box on that page and press the "Validate" button.
Following the tutorial, my cfdDomain gives "1. Solution exception:Cannot create an instance of an interface" when plugging the Brep in. How do we fix this?
Is swift capable of calculating with fluids apart form air? Or is it only limited to air. I’m trying to get a water cfd simulation within grasshopper but I can’t find any plugins that can use water.
Hi, the numbered results are not showing in the VWT folder. When I open the file in Paraview there is only the solid itself. How should I fix this? Thank you!
Hi Thomas, do you mean more obvious names on the components? Yes sorry I have to document the system more so that it is easier to understand. However it is changing a lot due to being early in developent and I am getting very little feedback from users so it has not been a priority to now :-)
after loading the case.foam file you have to check the mesh-regions and fields you want to load in the menu on the left and then press Apply. I do this super-fast in the video so you cant really see it happen. If that doesnt work then check if your VWT folder has numbered results in it? 0, 45, 90, etc... if not then something went wrong with the calculation. Ensure you are using the Rhino 5 (64-bit) executable.
@@Opitman Hello, I am facing an issue. The folders are being created when I run the script, but there is no data stored in the case files. The OpenFOAM case files are empty (0kb) and no background process is ongoing after few seconds. Kindly help if someone faced the same issue.
The file you reference contains an unkonwn node node called "system config" in which you plug a text file into a boolean operation> why. what good is referencing example files if they're not the same?
