Indeed, in epistemology and philosophy of science the virtues mentioned here are also discussed, but they are not actually called virtues. I guess we have been used to Kant's classification of faculties and we would not want to introduce ethical vocabulary to the domain of epistemology. But you are right; what we are talking about are intellectual virtues.
