I love when this music plays while they're talking about some academic shit because i can put my chin on my fingers and pretend to be smart for like 5 minutes straight.
@@JamesBCrazy You need to factor in the de facto speed. The total (experienced) time needed to build up speed is 22.045 * √6 which is 53.8887743412 hours.
I love this one. Equally useful at both "Now I get it!!!!!!!" and "I didn't get anything about what you just said, let me go back on the log" situations.
This song makes me think so much of Phi... imo, it's her unofficial theme of sorts. I feel like it captures her character, as well as the general mood of VLR, pretty well. colder and more ""laid-back"" than the tense atmosphere of 999. it's awesome. this theme is awesome
I question whether the series as a whole deserves the praise after ZTD. That game sadly spoiled the glamour and glory of the entire series for me. But 999 and VLR as stand alone games deserve way more praise. It's tragic, I'll cosplay as siggy and few people know my character. But there's always a mandatory DR cosplayer. Like dude, the two creators are besties, the two series are practically intertwined.
I think the most intense part of the soundtrack is when you're about to put the password in the monitor (the lion eating the sun) and that super long flash back thing plays, and it gets louder and louder and louder.... and then it stops. It's SO freaky when you're at home, completely alone, and there's just complete silence. I don't know why, but I think this part affected me the most. I didn't even think about the password for the longest time, I just sat there, staring at the screen.....
That happens under "Sinisterness", the same track that you hear when you first wake up. There's also a whoosh-like sound effect that gets louder each time you click. It's not just the soundtrack, it's the whole scene, the way the image warps and that it's not an automatic cutscene, but YOU click to get the next part. I don't know why that last bit makes it better, I just know it does. MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH... MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH... MEMENTO MORI... REMEMBER DEATH...
Mastermind6425 I can definite see that. It reminds me of a mix between "Announce the Truth" and "Logic and Trick" in the very first game, not entirely, but kind of like a lighter version of the two. Still, there's something different about this track that just makes it fantastic
@@donavonheim559 ... no Its clearly a Logic and Trick theme. It even plays during similar moments. Reminiscence themes would be Morphogenetic Sorrow or Blue Bird Lamentation
There's a secret file that goes more in depth He was originally gifted with the ability to talk to cats under the condition he wouldn't tell anyone, but in his excitement and being young he immediately went to tell a girl to impress her. A black cat cursed him to talk only in cat puns for the rest of his life as punishment, but later a white cat who had come across him and sensed the curse thought it was too harsh of a punishment, and so lessened the curse so it only happens when he talks about cats.
It also stands for the variable K, an unknown substitute in mathematics. It can also stand for Kanny, as Akane takes on the armor in a certain timeline.
When I ever I hear this song in the game I know what's going to happen. A:I'm gonna learn some shit that involves science! B: Stuff is being explained to me in the best way possible!
Steins;Gate Ace Attorney Ghost Trick This song sounds like it would fit in perfectly with those games. Can't tell you how many times I had to reread the scientific explanations. For a character you knew nothing about, phi knew a lot of information in this game.
fredthemontymole Just imagine how epic a Phoenix Game would be with this style of soundtrack... I should make/edit a video featuring a mashup of both games for an awesome feel.
I love how the main medley sounds like it is trying to hide another darker tune just underneath the surface which slowly comes out and reveals itself towards the end of the loop.
That's an interesting theory, but Zero III did mention a failsafe check that counters your point. Remember the scanners beyond the primary chromatic doors? The ones which determine whether or not the right combination of players entered the right door? Zero III mentioned that a similar system is installed in the AB rooms as well. This is why pairs and solos cannot share an AB room.
+aneonfoxtribute Oh, i guess if you're not looking at the top comments, its lacking context. A number of people are comparing this piece to some tracks of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, specifically logic and trick. But i cant hear it, it sounds very original to me. No other similar tracks came to mind for me.
I'm a fairly Cynical Cid, but I think that's a case of "I've played this niche DS game series and enjoy it" and then everyone floods them with thumbs up because "under-appreciated game"
I think it also plays at certain parts of Dio and Clover's endings, when they are giving you information. If not this specific piece, it sounds very similar.
I don't know why, but every time I hear this song, I think of Ace Attorney. Either there was a similar topic, or it just seems to me that it would have been there just right.
SPOILERS The only time I don't agree with the use of this song was in room Q. It stands out too much during Akane's speech (maybe due to the sound quality of the voice, well, I saw in the Japanese version) . Something like "digital root" from 999 would work better, personally. But it's still a great song, by the way, one of my favorites!
For instance, MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! for everyone else, by the way... Remember when Phi locked Dio out of their AB room to assure K that her group would not betray him? According to your logic, Dio should still be able to join K in his AB room, and perhaps even get lucky enough to cast K's vote for him. It's well thought out - and Dio even tried to get away with it - but ultimately, the AB room rejected him, and the announcer reported that an incorrect set of bracelets was present.
I must have made at least forty Kenstar impressions while playing this game, and most of them where while this song was playing. "That explains everthing!"
ya i saw that. it was first 303 then 302,202. And now it's 102 If it's a timer for zero escape 3 does this mean Sigma will have a shotgun, clover eats ice cream and Junpei and Akane are gonna get married??? You know Shotgun, ring, ice cream and all that.
I think it might have something to do with his real name. Any more than that would be spoiling, and I don't wanna do that, especially not on youtube > A>
Wow, you play slow XP, I totalled 29 hours, saw everything other than 2 dead ends, including all endings (lol'ed the *last* room, try to do anything in there other than the safe and Phi gets pissed that your wasting time when you already have the safe code). Mind you, it was closer 3 hours for me, I somehow got the Dio route on my first try.
