lol. used to play with some of those people. ex-medusa ctf! powerhouse. baphomet, chewie, dk, mike. spl4tter too was a friend from HUBBS. great stuff. much nostalgia. great video.
How the hell could anyone perform that shot around the 7:00 mark? That's an unbelievably close one, looking at the angle...impressive. I mean, when you look at this vid, you need to really be quite good in terms of reflexes AND reading the flow of battle. Skills that few truly master.
So it was (or perhaps still is) the days when no aimbot, no aim assistance and no lazy hitboxes could save you. Estimate your enemy's movement and pull the trigger in the right moment. Otherwise you just wasted your shot. the only shot you got, since your enemy knows his shit.
5* Fantastic editing, good music - very fitting. Also the game play was amazing, It would seem that the Quake community is a much more sensitive and intelligent group than the CS or CoD communities, where you can get kills by just camping. I play quake live, which is just like this but with a few different levels, and so i know how hard it can be to get the frags looking as easy as they do in the video. Well done to the players and editor. xx
WE HAVE A WINNER! If any kid is reading this I fucking double triple quad fuckin killamanjaro dare ya to display this level of skill in ANY game today (Including REFLEX/CPMA) NEW BLOOD WANTED. KEEP KILLING IT!
Hi guys! I remember this from a CD that came with one of the gaming magazines. There was another Q3 movie there, with the white dash lines projecting the paths of jumping enemies. It was mind blowing to watch - a sense of ballistic simulations these guys were doing with their spinal cords, all resulting in that satisfying frag moments... Why does it kinda hurt to remember... Anyway, if you know that movie, please share the link. You would really make my day. Gl hf!
not too shabby. though, like someone said, most of the frags in this vid CAN be seen often nowadays. seen some pretty insane ppl on QL playing duels. one thing i liked a lot about this vid is the music.
you who think these frags are common, at the time this film was made, there was not qlive and not so easy to hit the rail 100% and the shaft, that's no bad players who appear in this film. One can not compare to today's movies :)
Good luck dude, regardless of what anyone might wanna say, Quake 3 is the ultimate game when it comes to testing both skill and talent, enjoy it while you can. I was 18 when it first came out, and at 28 my reflexes are already too slow to keep up with younger players :(
@jidar by "pro shots" you mean style shots not pro shots, just because they didn't pull an amazing stunt like 3 arial rockets or something similar doesn't mean they aren't "pros" you have to pay attention and take into consideration the LG accuracy, rail accuracy and so on, that also counts.
