Update: I'd like to formally thank you and Ben for your thoughts on my situation earlier! I talked with our Legal team and they said I can talk about everything including my work since it's a Local Agency (Department of State - US Embassy). I'd be setting myself up for failure if I didn't have this information. I'm a lot more confident now that I can answer those questions truthfully! Thank you so much!!

It's so funny though. Almost every officer knows that Students do not leave immediately and in fact there's a pathway to residence via F1>H1>GC. So I've never understood rejections based on intent to stay.
You'll easily get the visa, while on F1 you are paying US money, so there's literally no reason for them to reject, its only once you switch to OPT or H1B, you realize Canada or Germany was the right choice all along
I’m from GHANA . I have secured 35% tuition waiver and still have a deficit of $19k ( tuition and expenses included). How do I navigate the question about my funding. My step dad is sponsoring the deficit. And my program is Information Technology.

Hey hope you’re well. I was refused b1/b2 tourist visa in Feb 23 when I just wanted to see my sisters that are both in the USA on H1B visa. They’re both doctors. Now I’m thinking of applying for a study visa for masters as I have my degree and a good amount of work experience. Do you think my previous rejection could have an impact on my f1 visa? Should I disclose my sisters on the f1 visa form?
apply for F1 visa from Nigeria , Yesterday there is massive denial in Nigeria . pls is Nigeria a reflags or is there any special screen to Nigeria student.
Hello, I will be renewing my visa for grad school. I’m currently filling out the DSO160 application, and I noticed that I can only add one funding source even though I have two. How do I let the embassy know that I will be having multiple sources of funding?
Hi, great interview! It was very informative. I would like to know, does age also play an important role in the approval of the interview? I have the work experience post grad in India and want to pursue my master's in the USA. I am in my mid 30s.
Hi there! Hope you are doing well. Thank you for the informative video. A few queries regarding my visa interview. I got my F1 visa interview in about 20 days (planning for spring 24). 1) I applied to 2 universities in Usa and got acceptance from one and another being still on hold. so, what to say when the visa officer asks me about how many admits? will it be a problem ? 2) The amount in the i20 is about $39500 and scholarship of $4500 so the final amount is $35000. Coming to my funding it is $35000 from my family funds and $25000 loan from bank. Will it be a problem if my savings are more than loan. 3) I graduated in April 2023 and currently unemployed. So should I say I am woking on the courses related to my major like python. will it be okay? Thank you
Be honest about admits. Funding is fine as long as there is good proof of funds. That’s fine to say you are a recent grads and working on courses to prepare for next phase. Good day I am due to start class 25 August for Fall of 2024. I am yet to book my visa appointment for july as the college/company sponsoring me delayed providing my proof of funds so i expect my i-20 by Tueday 25 June 2024, am i too late. Secondly my former employer which is a college is sponsoring my studies how do I justify why they chose to sponsor me. The only reason I have is that they want a subject matter expert in the field of cyber security and hence they are sponsoring me so that I come back home and apply these skills in training back at their college. Is that good enough
Hell officer, I got a question, i got my bachelor's degree & diploma this year in automation engineering.. and i applied and got admitted to study english in an institute ( connect english school ) to prepare for my TOEFL test in the US..After getting the TOEFL certification..I'm gonna comback to my country and apply for a master's degree in DUBAI in automation engineering... what do you think ?
Hi, I want to draw your kind attention. I am a student. I have completed my 10th grade 2 years ago in 2021. From 2022 to 2023 I did not go to any high school . Now, I want to go to the US in a high school to grade 11. I am filling out the DS-160 form for an F1 student visa for US. I am facing a problem with both the present and previous work/ education/ training information section. In the present education section, I have written about my 10th-grade school's name. And in the previous education section where I have to answer the following question - " Have you attended any institution on a secondary level or above?" But what should I write in the previous education section? I am not understanding if the answer is yes or no. If yes, should I again write about my 10th-grade school's name as 10th grade is the secondary level? I have not enrolled in any educational institution for 2 years. 2 years ago I passed 10th grade. 1) What should I write in the present education section? 2) What should I write in the previous education section? I mean in which section should I write about my 10th grade? Present or previous? I would be grateful if you could help me . Thank you.
My visa interview is 24th of July and I’m more confused, scared than ever. I have a GA from my school but it is not appearing on my I-20 because I got it after my school ( Shippensburg University) had sent my I-20 and I noticed from formal transcripts that the VOs work strictly with the I-20 and not what u tell them

Hi . Thanks for your good video and information. I have a question. I received ESL admission and the i20 letter came and I got a visa appointment . I entered in the ds160 form , my national service , the Army . As you know in Iran , national service for 2 years is mandatory in IRGC ( in banned list of USA) but I was a primary school teacher in those 2 years . 8 years ago . Do you think I should edit and write the truth in that form ds160 ? Do I have any chance of getting a visa? Is it possible to edit ds160 at all ? Please guide me. Thank you and thank you

Hi I’m from Ghana and I’ve been accepted into undergraduate program in Albright College and my parents are going to cover my tuition and other expenses and I have 35% of my tuition covered by scholarships. But here is the case I’ve been denied twice visitors visa and I’ve have my F1 visa interview next month. Will the twice deniers visitors visa affect my F1 visa approval. This is actually giving me nightmares and I need your help
Please I need an advice of which is the best. I have a gap about 11 years after my diploma and now have two admissions one of the university want me to do bachelor of science in education and one too want me to do transfer of credit and start the masters in education which one is best for me to secure my student visa easy because have scholarship 50% scholarship in all of them and savings of about $40k from my teaching for all these years. Thanks
As you said, University reputation seems to matter quite a bit. Is there some ranking system that the visa officials follow or is it more arbitrary ? How decent would you say my chances would be if I am going to Texas A&M for a Computer Science MS degree ? Unfortunately, they do not release their scholarship decisions until June/July and my interview is probably gonna happen before that.
There is not special ranking system they use, more just based on common knowledge of quality of colleges Certain colleges have bad reputation that take advantage of F1 students so those are red flags they are looking for Texas A&M is just fine
Oh my sis is came winning a DV lottery, worked hard at 2 jobs and saved and paid her masters then got a job at Big 4, filed and paid lots of taxes on time, and they denied me just because of that- my sis was there, they did not care how well behaved she was, she contributed more to the society than some parasite citizens who intentionally not work and lives off of social security that comes out of taxpayers paycheck like my sister's.
i have b1 b2 visa currently should i apply from my home country will i have more chances of getting f1 or less chance for f1 for masters degree in stem field secondly if i do apply for f1 from my home country and and get rejected will they reject my b1b2 visa As well

@@chaiandcoaching Hi I recently got accepted in a Bsc Nursing program in the USA. Though i already have a nursing degree here from my home country I simply applied for the same program because Nursing degree in the USA is more advanced. I had a visa interview and it was refused. Hello officer, I’ve been rejected twice but with the same university. In fact, this time I did change my sponsorship to myself. I’m a working professional and last time I kept my father as my sponsor and this time i changed it to myself and still I couldn’t secure visa. Does changes means only if we change university? I thought the same university would be best fit for me and due to which i did stick with the same uni. And i know officers would want me to have something change in my application so , i thought better to change sponsors rather than changing uni. While answering every question visa officer seems to be very friendly and polite. Each and every questions, I answered to visa officer, she heard that very calmly and I thought that i would get visa but in the end she replied that sorry. You can again apply. I would be grateful if you give your insight on this officer.
What were your visa interview questions and answers? I need more details before giving any feedback. Also, what is the college and degree, and funding situation?
I have applied to 1 University and got an admit. What if they ask how many universities have you applied? If I tell only one University does it affect my visa?
Hi there! Thanks so much for the very informative video. I have my visa interview scheduled for next week. My biggest concern is the fact that I intend to switch industries / career change. I am admitted to a Master's program focusing on Entrepreneurship but my Bachelor's (taken here in my home country) is not really related to that. Would this be a red flag or should I just explain my career transition carefully?

@@mohitshah9382 Trust me, there are no red flags in the interviewers mind when you give a MS interview. You are literally going spend 60lakh plus with no guarantee of any recovery.
Oh no, matters get even more confusing for the young people who are applying for F1 Visa. One should think that the USA and or Canada would want to keep the people there whom they put through their universities.
Please, I do have my interview coming up in a couple of days to study an MBA at Edgewood College, Madison. The tuition for the entire program is $ 30000 and my brother in-law is my sponsor. But, i also have a student loan approved by MPOWER which wasn't mentioned In my I-20 (It came out late). I intend to show both during the interview. Will that pose a problem?
