It's funny how computer physicists from universities are currently looking at this comment section to view people being interested in these programs only to find this. Nice impression you're making.
@@jeffthebovine4158 well i think the people who worked on this are allowed to have a little fun when working on something as stress-inducing like rendering complex physics ;)
As a werewolf, I can assure you that those are definitely sunburnt. We look waay better than those were-armadillos. We're really just kinda giant wolves.
I love that they probably added the armadillo invasion one for fun. Makes me happy to see that such skilled computer scientists like to do silly things too :)
Ted Atwood These 3D objects have viscosity applied to them, if I understand it correctly. The shapes morph like a slightly viscous liquid would. 3D liquids have always been a challenge, and computational disaster. The fact that these render so realistically is mindblowing.
+Minimum Headroom It's not really software so much as a rendering engine. You can't really mess with it by ticking buttons and watching stuff come out, it's a digital application of physics and engineering.
Catherine Sticco Well, I'm willing to learn the proper application of it if it means I can simulate 15 pigmen melting or something. This is just neat to look at.
@@ДмитроПрищепа-д3я sure, but it doesn't comes with that realism, I tested this feature before (and I admit I tried to replicate this realism on Blender 😂😂😂)
+Damian Hallbauer This simulation is not my work. I am just saying the armadillo is great when you need to test your software. And I must agree with you that it actually looks like a turd.
I like to think that this is video footage of god fucking around on the 7th day..."well, i've made the world and I still have a heap of this goop laying around...LET'S SCIENCE!!!"
