At 10:00 am on Sunday 24 October, when Alexis Pinturault pushes through the start gate at the first Giant Slalom of the season in Sölden (Austria), the clocks will be reset to zero.
The skier from Courchevel realised his childhood dream when he won the big crystal globe in 2021, 24 years after Luc Alphand, also a member of Team Bollé at the time. For one of the greatest French athletes in history, the quest for excellence is far more than a question of numbers, and does not end with this achievement.
