Tim's lyrics have always been just raw and in your face with a lot of depth to them, they helped me out a lot in my HS yrs! so i feel you homie. Can't wait to see them again.
The whole album is amazing and has a very strong re-listen value....this one I can keep playing in my car over and over....and for workouts too....love it
In my Top5 ALLTIME hc bands no question.. Im so fortunate for growing up with the best music in the 80s&90s, I soaked it all in, the only genre I didn’t gel with was Country lol I think around my freshman yr I started listening to harder metal( pantera,Sepultura etc) n Nu-metal showed up wit Korn, deftones, limp Bizkit etc and I needed shit even harder than that and I give props to my boy for throwing me afew hardcore mix tapes.. and that blew my mind, I was into everything but I was a HC kid from then on.. VOD, Earth Crisis, hatebreed, Overcast, 25 ta Life, Section 8 , fairy of Five and the list goes on!! I feel like i can never give enough back to hardcore for the influence it had on my life.
i would love to hear the vision of disorder self-titled be re-recorded. don't get me wrong I still love the original , but with his vocal technique now it will come out amazing
The one band I have followed since I was 13 years old, I am now 25. Exceptional album and band. It's comforting to know that they still sound like they did way back in the beginning and didn't sell out and change their sound drastically like most bands have in recent times.
InfiniteDominance agreed. I always dig Bloodsinpke.got into them at like 14 & Red Harvest just came out.then I realized same singer did VOD so I got all the VOD stuff.few years back Cursed came out after the reunion VOD show.i was like, "oh okay" new work from Tim is always appreciated
It's not super easy (or common) to make a song both heavy and catchy at the same time. V.O.D. have pulled it off for years and arguably come out with their best album ever with Razed. Hope we get many more years of Tim and the boys making great music for us!
Loved VOD in the 90s. One of those bands that I kind of put on the backburner for a while This jam came out in 2016 and they STILL sound awesome. Great mix of styles....
this is what an evolved VoD is supposed to be....A hear alittle AiC, but How in the hell did Asking Alexandria get so big and these guys didn't get the same success is beyond me...Good Shit Tim!!!!!!
Frederick Peterson that's because these guys, bands like vod are for us , I'm glad they're considered underrated , ( if they are underated that is ..) Let all the sheep follow bands like Alexandria, or w.e else . Everyone's comments on here make me feel so fn good to know that one of my fav bands are still getting so much love n respect for what they do. That's really what it's all about .
i've been hearing about v.o.d since long before any of the current top bands out there started ...here they are after many of those top bands ended... just found this today in a albany hardcore and metel scene playlist ....they were played regularly on the albany college radio...so glad to hear theyre still kickin it :)
HELLZ YEA!!! V.O.D still got it n still heavy A.F!! I actually been listening to there self titled album for the past cpl weeks. I've been with VOD since 96 😎 Straight 🔥🔥 my friends!!!
Saw them in 99 in Worcester Mass at heavy metal hardcore fest.got to the gate and yell out"Tim Williams for President" he looked at me like your an idiot.but when the tunes kicked in and he saw I know every word he ran to me to throw him up crowd surfing
I don’t understand why they ain’t very active? They are fucking awesome & should be out here tour like a Motherfucker!!! I’d love to see them if they ever come to Ohio or Kentucky
IMHO....self titled album (green drop) is the best HC Metal album cover to cover, then they totally lost me w/ Imprint....But thy brought me back w/ "For the Bleeders".
