I’m a new fan of Vision Talk and love the stuff I’m hearing. Was thrilled to see they have a version of the classic Slice Me Nice. This remix is really good, but just short of great. Every note and beat is flawless leading up to the chorus, but when the “ess el eye see ee” starts it’s just meh. It’s like passionate foreplay with no orgasm - huge build up with no payoff. The best part of the original song is the way the letters in the chorus are chopped up. The way each letter is pronounced... ssss llll iiii cccc eeee.... in perfect rhythm with the backbeat, it’s what brings the sugar. Taking out this effect makes the chorus sound uninspired. This is a shame because they really nailed the rest of the song.

i like fancy. this covees is ok but not brilliant :P
