My work truck has the Speaker headlights and they do an amazing job. I'm more than positive that the Vision's will be just as good if not better for distance even on low beam.
Hey guys, any chance you can do a side by side with the JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2? I am interested in both of these, would want to wait till Vision X has a black version if I went that way.
would be kinda sweet for the halo to look white when off , but to light up as amber , id use it as an addition to the blinker lighting on each side. as least on my old hot rods, i think halo lights make old cars and trucks loog goofy.
jazz I have a ford f150 stx I want to add clearance lights either blue or yellow, but I want a good product that i won't have to change the bulbs every month, I know ( putco) has some in red and yellow, but theirs so many company's, help
You forgot Truck-Lite... They produce a 7 inch round and a 6054 premium led headlight. I o have the 6054 set on my XJ and it's amazing. Truck-Lite is also cheaper by large margin.
ID10Tpig Yeah, this video was mostly just to demonstrate the Vision X lights. We just compared it to the JW Speaker because that's been one of our most popular lights. BUT, we do have a video coming a soon comparing a bunch of 7" LED headlights side by side including the truck-lite.
+ID10Tpig I replaced a pair of Truck-Lite's with the Evo2's and was disappointed. Smother light pattern but the bright rectangular spot was more distracting than the Truck Lite "W". The Truck Lite's shine whiter and farther on Hi-beam. I am going back.
jazz can you do a video on the anzo, spyder, recon lightning products an give your honest opinions the lighting quality compared to the u.s.a quality miltary grade lights ip67, ip68, ip69 light bars, light replacement housing
The Vortex Light Kit comes with two headlights. If you need to adapt those headlights to fit a Jeep Wrangler, then you should also buy two of these anti-flicker adapters: www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-vortex-canbus-integration-anti-flicker-adapter-for-led-headlights and you will need these two H4 into H13 adapters as well: www.headlightrevolution.com/product/jw-speaker-h4-to-h13-adapter-wire-harness Simply purchasing these two harnesses will make your Jeep Wrangler headlight install, plug and play!
That is a good question. We're actually not sure yet. We think it should be, but the harness hasn't been released quite yet so we haven't been able to test that.
Bought this light "VisionX Vortex" for my 2015 Jeep Hard Rock Unlimited Rubicon and the light connections became a problem under 10 months. I was driving around with just one light because of this issue. Best to keep the stock lights on your jeep. Not impressed at all with this 7" VisionX Vortex light.
Allan Bacon What is the make, model, and year of the bike you are thinking of? If the bike uses a 7" round headlight there is a possibility it would work great. Vision X is even selling these headlights in motorcycle specific kits. You can find them here and it will also give you a little more motorcycle specific info on these lights: www.headlightrevolution.com/Motorcycle_Headlights_s/1850.htm
jazz I need assistance I have a ford stx f150 2014 I have halogen bulbs I want to change my headlights fog lights , and taillights, braklight to leds, what do suggest, but I want only want made in the u.s.a quality
Hey! We sure do, lots of different options, check them out! headlightrevolution.com/headlights/replacement-headlight-housings/sealed-beam-headlight-upgrades/5-75-round-sealed-beam-headlight-housings/ Let me know if you have any questions about any of these products!
Is this lights CE approved? This is not look like this we can use here in Europe. The light is strong yes but the light is also to flat compering with the old still. On this clip is wide but very flat in height? Why is that? It will be much better for us or people to se it at night on a road instead of talking with them in a garage.
Mike H. I think it depends on how you aim the case of your headlight. I'm using this model plus.google.com/106881438235728461075/posts/8ogppTMZiEJ and it's a lot brighter than my HID
+Eric Jones Are you thinking something like this? www.headlightrevolution.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=Anzo+ford+f-150+headlights&Submit= They do have Halo accents, but are not a sealed beam LED headlight replacement. These are a headlight housing replacement. We don't know of any sealed beam vehicle specific headlight for an F-150.
We sure do, you can find them here: www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-vortex-high-four-adapter-keep-low-beam-on-when-high-beam-on They are sold individually, and if you're needing them for a vehicle like a Jeep, you'll need one for each headlight.
OK !!! That's cool. So the total cost would be about $ 973.90 IS THIS CORRECT !!! And what about sales tax. www.headlightrevolution.com/product/jw-speaker-h4-to-h13-adapter-wire-harness @ 39.45 Each (78.90/ Pair) anti-flicker adapters www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-vortex-canbus-integration-anti-flicker-adapter-for-led-headlights @ 29.00 Each (58.00/ Pair) four high adapters www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-vortex-high-four-adapter-keep-low-beam-on-when-high-beam-on @ 19.00 Each (38.00/ Pair) THE QUESTION IS, WILL ALL THE EXTRA ADAPTERS AND WIRING FIT INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT BUCKET ? I will be ordering shortly after I receive your response. Thank you. John A. Eckert
What you could do is order the headlight kit that includes two lights and two anti-flicker harnesses. That is here: www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-jeep-jk-headlights-pair-of-7-round-vortex-led-headlight-w-low-high-halo-including-anti-flic and then add the two high-four adapters separately, which should have no problem fitting in his jeeps headlight buckets. $887 and no sales tax unless he is located in Minnesota. A little better price!
THANK YOU. That's a savings of about 86 dollars is ALOT BETTER. Is the above link for the black chrome headlight or the standard chrome? If it is for the standard chrome PLEASE send me the link for the black chrome headlights! My wife said being we are saving money we should look into fog lights. Valentine's day you know !!! NOW. What would you recommend for LED fog lights, and do any of them come with a separately powered Halo.
That was regular chrome. This would be the Black Chrome here: www.headlightrevolution.com/product/vision-x-jeep-jk-headlights-pair-of-7-black-chrome-round-vortex-led-headlight-w-low-high-halo-includ Some for fog lights with halos would be the Vision X Optimus Halo lights. But hey, can I forward you on to our sales team? They'll be able to get you connected with all the right products and links and can probably get you set up with a better discount too. Send them an email at sales@headlightrevolution.com letting them know who you are, and I will also forward this conversation to them as well. Sounds like it will be a great Valentines Day!
No, these would not be approved for European driving. We can direct you to a site that does have headlights for the EU market. www.mobilecentre.co.uk/ I can also direct you to the Vision X Europe page if you would like more information about Vision X products for Europe. www.visionx-europe.com/
+flyingbrick88 Hello! No problem! JW Speaker makes European versions of their headlights. For those versions of the Evo 2 headlights we direct people to Mobile Centre. They will be able to help you out. Here's a link to their 8700 Evo 2 products: www.mobilecentre.co.uk/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=evo2&x=0&y=0
+Headlight Revolution thanks for that! the problem is that due to exchange rates it is far more expensive for me to purchase from the UK than from the US or nearly anywhere else. hopefully I can find a supplier elsewhere!
+Headlight Revolution sorry to bug you. when they state RHT and LHT in the product specs is that the DIRECTION that the unit will throw the low beam light? eg I would need LHT lamps as oncoming traffic is on my right. also would both headlights be LHT or just the unit closest to oncoming traffic? might seem simple but finding a basic setup/buying guide is a bit difficult!
+flyingbrick88 No problem, your questions are great! When they state RHT that means right hand traffic (driving on the right side of the road like the United States) and LHT means left hand traffic (driving on the left hand side of the road like you in New Zealand). So RHT and LHT refers to the side of the road the car is driving on. For driving in New Zealand you would need both headlights to be LHT headlights (for driving on the left side of the road). I quickly put together this graphic that I think will help you: it shows the difference between the beam patterns and how the light shines down the road. www.headlightrevolution.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/trafic.jpg
larry cheng Yes, and we have shipped to Hong Kong in the past. We wouldnt be able to create a video for you, but we would be able to create a write-up for you.
+No Name The Golf MK2 takes a generic 7” round headlight. So any of our 7” round LED headlights will fit. As for the connector, I believe that his Golf has a 9004 style connector, so he will need an H4 to 9004 style adapter to plug it in.
OMG!!! get to the point! Useless information until You get to 13:43 where the comparison starts. Even then, still slow rambling.... 18:30 before you see an actual light comparison.
You can find the price and all the information by clicking the link below the video. It will bring you right to the kit. www.headlightrevolution.com/Vision_X_7_Round_LED_Headlight_kit_p/xil-7rdkit.htm
It directly competes with JW Speaker. They are premium headlights with lifetime warranty. Im waiting on the new EVO2 from JW Speaker to be reviewed!!!!
wantsanewvehicle I have the JW Speakers and they are plenty bright. I would say it was the best money ever put into the jeep simply due to the fact its the most used item of all things i've added to it. The JW still looks superior to this VX & JW just launched a new version of the EVO 8700 which im waiting for a review on as it looks 200% better then the current JW. It may be expensive, but its great when you get them and you wont regret it.
disturbedspacemonkey 1k lumens on lowbeam *is* plenty bright at about the same brightness as halogens.. but there are led bulbs now that are 3x as bright, and then of course you have hid that are even brighter..
There is more to lights then lumens. If you watch more reviews you will see the candela, lux, beam pattern ect. The JW Speakers are WAY brighter then the Halogens. I would love an HID projector kit that was plug and play with a jeep but there isn't one. Mainly because HID are unstable in water and rough rides and they burn out easy with those situations. Not ideal for a jeap, but they do produce the nicest light, I agree.
Welder Nate you got that right and at 800 bucks you got to be insane to spend that kind of money...Ya ask me if you bought these you got to much money and no brains
