The angels did not have human babies with women: half human, and half spirit. The Nephilim (6:4) described only here in the Bible, where demonize men, whose sexual intimacy with women led to a demonized society. They had given themselves over to powers of darkness so fully, it seems , that they became powerful men (6:4). Yet their dark powers were no match for the Creator God, who look down and decreed that their days will be 120 years ( 6:3 ). God would only take so much evil, so he announced 120-year window for people to repent, after which judgment would come. 6:5-7 What began with Adam and Eve's sin, grew in Cain's murderous ways, and bore fruit in Lamech's boastful violence is now in full bloom throughout the human race. God looked on the earth and saw that every inclination of the human mind was nothing but evil all the time (6:5). People had become comprehensively corrupt, manufacturing evil at the highest possible level. This pained God (6:6) , and it moved him into action. God's Spirit would not longer shield men from his just judgment, as he issue a decree of total destruction (6:7). ... 6:8-13 In the midst of this corruption and violence generation, Noah... found favor with the Lord (6:8). 6:14-7:5 God revealed his plan to Noah: I am bringing a flood... to destroy every creature under the heaven with the breath of life in it (6:16). The only Escape would be through the ark that God commanded in order to Bill, a flat-bottomed vessel large enough to house's both human and land animal life. God intended to start over, so this judgment was not complete. 6:1-4. Sons of God ( Heb. bene elohim ) refers to the godly line of Seth, which intermarried with the daughters of men, the ungodly line of Cain. The results of the spiritually mixed marriages brought the Judgment of God upon the primeval world. While the term sons of God refers to angels in some passages ( e. g., Job 1:6 ), this is certainly not the case here. Jesus clearly taught that angels do not " marry or give in marriage " ( Matthew. 22:30 ). My spirit shall not alway strive with man is a reference to the Holy Spirit striving with, in the sense of judging or convicting, mankind for its sinfulness. Man was given 120 years after this warning, before the judgment of the Flood actually came. Giants (Hebrew nephilim, perhaps " fallen ones " or princes " ). When the Israelites saw the Anakim they concluded they had seen "the nephilim" (Numbers. 13:33). Mighty men ( giborim, "warriors"): Note in verse 11that the earth war filled with violence. Men of renown were literally " men of a name." in 11:4 " the reputation or name" is use in a derogatory sense, contrasted with God's giving Abram a good " " name " in 12:2. " Mighty one" is used of Nimrod in a negative sense in 10,:8-10. These giants already existed on Earth and we're not the offspring of the marriages mention. ( Gen 6:2 a took them wives of all which they chose. ( Read Deut.7:3,4 ). We all have made mistakes with the word of God, because sometimes we forget some or all of a subject, scripture, or a name we have read or study, or speak out of someone else words, or the Holy Spirit word teaching have been planted but have not taken root. If we continue to speak on a chapter then we must pray, fast and continue to Study. And some thing's you just don't understand, all you need to do is just have faith. We should learn to Study, and speak what we know and have learn to be true. The Holy Bible ( King James Version ).
