Breckenridge Colorado | Free Fun Things To Do in Breckenridge CO | RV America Y'all
Welcome to another fun-filled episode of Side Trip Sunday!
This week, we take you along for a lot of FREE fun in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado! We have been looking forward to RVing in Breckenridge for a long time. But we had no idea how many free museums and activities we'd have to choose from during our stay last summer!
In this travel vlog, we'll share some of the fun things to do in Breckenridge CO (specifically when you visit Breckenridge in the summer). We also share some of the history we learned during our visit, and show you our RV campsite at Tiger Run Resort between Breckenridge and Frisco CO.
As usual, a week in Breckenridge CO just wasn't enough. We will definitely be back in the future.

One of the nice things there is if your batteries on your ebikes were to run down, the buses are free, so you just need to make it to a bus stop, and you can get a ride back. I utilized that service when I had our kids there many years ago. Took the bus with the kids and bikes to Copper Mountain and ate breakfast, then headed back down the mountain following the creek/stream. Definitely suggest that ride to anyone in the area.

You were very smart to visit during the shoulder season. The bike paths are dangerous in the summer with so many tourists. We sold our condo there several years ago. It is a beautiful place. Our favorite campground is Heaton Bay on Lake Dillon.

We are currently in this area but are camping at Peak One forest service campground on Dillon Lake for two weeks. Booked six months in advanced. Since our Tiffin has solar and lithium batteries it’s easy to stay in this campground that has no hook ups. We dump at the Frisco sanitation facilities. We have kayaked on the lake, fly fished the Blue River and Eagle River and I hiked to the top Quandary Peak, the closest 14er to Breckinridge.

Spent a lot of time there when we lived in Colorado. Great little town. BTW, on the bikes.... you need to raise the seat until your leg slightly bends on the down stroke. It will protect your knees.

We haven’t been there but if you have a sleep number bed you need to adjust the pressure down and loosen the tops of bottles of shampoos & condiments in the fridge so they won’t burst! Have fun!!!

Born and raised in Colorado, relocated to Texas at the young age of 34 due to my job, I have been to all these places in the winter to ski. I used to despise Texans because I only saw the rich and entitled. I love love Texas and the values that we in Texas still have. Colorado has gone woke and I will never move back.
