You got some great books. Empress of the Seven Hills is the sequel to another book by Kate Quinn called Mistress of Rome about a young Jewish slave girl. It is a wonderful book.
@@jackiereadsandwrites I would. You could probably read them as stand alones, but reading Mistress of Rome will help with character development. The slave girl's name is Thea. The man on the cover of Empress of the Seven Hills is her son, Vix, and the girl is Sabina the daughter of Thea's mistress.
