My favorite is roti canai. Everytime I come back to KL, I always order 2 or 3 of them. I went to a couple of Malaysian restaurants in LA, they weren't that good. So I prefer to make it myself at home.

Hi, just a small guide for Malaysian food. when you mention "roti canai" or "roti kosong", "kosong" mean "zero/ blank/ basic" it's referring to the "plain roti" . you can request for other condiments added with bread such as banana (roti pisang), sardines (roti sardin), eggs (roti telur/ tampal) etc. prior to your order, you could request to make it crispy or not too crispy. to chopped it or not. you could also request for roti banjir (flooded roti) where the soup/ sauce would be pour on the bread (roti).

Aiden did right by mixing those 3 gravies! and at 23:50 Amy prefer something what most malaysians do as we like to have the roti with the mix of sambal and dhal. Can't believe you changed the intro...tho miss the old intro this new one is fresh and more profesional looking vlog intro. Love the music selection to represent malaysia :)

I’ll be back in KL (our 8th time) next week after the School exams of my kids, they need a break and i need some Vitamin Sun :-) Here in The Netherlands (you can compare our weather with the UK) we have terrible weather from October (sometimes from september) till April (sometimes May) i go from flu to flu hihi.... So you can imagine i need the hot weather and yes also the Food! Yummy. I wish i could live there :-)

All those towers shown inside KL Tower are communication towers. Seattle Tower is an office tower if I'm not mistaken. Space Needle is an observation tower.

A warm Welcome back to the best family on RU-vid the Joneses. Hello to you all and I must say you are all looking well and in good health. Im not going to lie but the view of the buildings and skyscrapers are not my thing. There's nothing beautiful or breathtaking about looking at ugly man-made structures. Apart from that as always I loved the vlog. Not much more to add to that as I'm pretty tired, it's been a long day and I'm still suffering from jet lag after returning from holiday on Sunday. Would love to see you guys to try other types of dishes in malaysia besides the most popular ones like nasi lemak and satay (although their really good) and try the lesser known dishes like tom yam, laksa, and the ramly burger. Hope you enjoy time here regardless

What a great way to eat roti canai with hands, I mean that's the way Malaysian people eat their food but not noodles. Just love the way you guys are.💕 is Aiden good? Because I find him moody. I wish I could talk with him. It's funny to see only Aiden who does not get along with the family in everything 😂 and suddenly there is a silent moment. This is a beautiful vlog of family. Welcome back to Malaysia Mr. Jones & family. 😊✌️ My suggestion when you come to malaysia, you should go to Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur and try "Nasi Berlauk" + "Nasi Lemak" over there. The taste is superb & you can choose variety of dishes at reasonable price. Besides that, you can also try "Nasi Kerabu" & "Nasi Dagang".

Hi really nice video btw im from Malaysia and i wanted to give you some extra stuff maybe you didn’t know, so if you see in your video you will see a tower that is taller than the KL Tower that still have the cranes, that mega skyscraper called pnb118 that will be 644Meter and will be the 2nd tallest building in the world behind burj khalifah, so please come again the next 2 years hahahha the building will have a diamond shaped

Ok lets me try to explain the 3 types of dipping sauces with the roti canai. (Btw roti kosong, the kosong means empty in bahasa, literally just means plain). From the reddish to light/yellowish. Red : sambal. Literally cooked in chili powder with onion and dried anchovies (not sardines). Local anchovies are not preserved in sauces unlike those from spain or portugal. They were sundried little fish). 2. Opposite end of sambal, yellow reddish color. This is usually fish curry sauce. Less spicy compared to sambal and usually fish curry comes w sour taste because it was cooked with tamarind, a type of sour fruits commonly used in indian thai and malay cooking. 3. Dalh. Mildest form of curry cooked w Chickpea. Main ingredient is tumeric. Hope this helps.

Hey Jones family, Hope you are enjoying Malaysia! an idea came to me while watching you enjoying the food.... Its upto you (if it aligns with your channels vision) if you want to do it or not.... It's actually three different content ideas for your videos. They don't have to be long ones - not sure of YT policy of what length is profitable for creators but whatever is appropriate. The ideas are 1. the top foods you like from each country you have visited. 2. Best food items in each category - appetizer, main, dessert, snack, drinks etc from each country 3. Best food item from each country for each family member. And then at the end of each video if it is not too controversial - the final verdict which one is the best one out of all of them in your opinion.

Love to see you people back on and the food really looks awesome and yummy. Roti Canai and Roti Canai Ghee are basically flatbread of Indian origin and here the roti you had is called latcha Parata and roughly translated it means layer on layer on layer flat bread.
