Meet Gregg Castro, the culture director of the Association of Ramaytush Ohlone, and one of two consultants at Filoli’s Lamchin Interpretive Center. Filoli is located in Woodside, CA, on the unceded lands of the Lamchin, an independent tribe of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples. The new Lamchin Interpretive Center, and the neighboring Spring Creek Trail, help teach the story of the land and its first inhabitants and stewards - the Lamchin - that is missing from textbooks. They invite visitors to see the exhibit and walk the trail to experience the land through the eyes of the Lamchin and understand what they have known for generations.
