Visit of Urdax/Urdazubi Part 1 - A Basque village in Navarre Province 

I was in Urdax/Urdazubi at the beginning of August - 2023 - for a festival.
Urdax is part of Navarre, but also one of the villages in Xareta territory. Xareta is a unique Basque territory including Urdax, Zugarramurdi and Sare. It has a unique history linked to the sorcellery trials and smugglers, due to its location in the countryside, in the mountains and between France and Spain.
In this video, I first tell about the Iron Day that was happening and the mountain architecture.
You will understand why the houses here are so different from the houses of Labourd - Bayonne, Ainhoa, etc.
