I really appreciate Dave Ramsey, might not be your flavor but in order to have a personal loan work, people have to be disciplined to not use their cards after.
I’ve worked hard to save about $500,000 for retirement, and now I’m ready to turn my savings into a paycheck. But how much can I afford to withdraw from savings and spend is what I don’t know. If I spend too much, I risk being left with a shortfall later in retirement. But if I spend too little, I may not enjoy the retirement I envisioned. What’s your advice on this please?
stay flexible - If the market performs poorly, you may not be comfortable increasing your spending at all. If the market does well, you may be more inclined to spend more on some ''nice to haves''

In a nutshell, I'm semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours weekly since getting fully invested in the marketsfor 5 years now, amassing about $1.3m so far, after subsequent investments.

He does tend to be condescending. You know what they say about people gaining money and power. Now, he feels entitled to interview presidential candidates while claiming he doesn't get political.
Don’t listen to the haters. You’re emotionally mature about this. And I don’t like his attitude either-it’s sometimes condescending to people who truly just don’t know how to use money….forgive yourself for what you didn’t know when you didn’t know it. Forgiveness is a chance to see that you didn’t know something important that you now can make a change to.
I tried getting a personal loan no matter what i just dont qualify cuz my debt and my credit suck due to those debts. What should i do? These interest fees are killer?
I’d say it depends on the person, Dave has changed so many peoples lives! He’s passionate, but some people don’t respond well to that type of passion! I love his finals plan and courses!!
I’m not ok with people yelling (and shaming people is disgraceful and disrespectful! That’s what wrong with our world right now!!! People yelling and being disrespectful. That’s why I don’t listen to Dave R anymore. I don’t like him as a person.
