So true! We planned to spend more time when we returned but due to the hurricane we ended up meeting the breeder south of her home so we never made it back to see the pups again.
That's so cute! I do the same thing when I go on vacation. There is a breeder on the outskirts of town I leave my two basenjis at with a very similar set up in the video. They get to run in and out as they please and they get rotated out during the day. I call it camp whenever they go and they love it and come back exhausted afterwards!
They do get to run. The area the runs are in is surrounded by fencing, so she’ll take them out from time to time and let them run around and play. We just didn’t want to do that when our dogs were there because we weren’t sure how they’d all interact. We were about to leave for vacation.
I love your basenjis. They are absolutely beautiful. Could you please tell me who is your breeder? Me and my husband are looking for a basenji puppy. Thank you.
Very shabby kennels some are so narrow and with two dogs inside them, one dog is pacing up and down definitely not enough stimulation for a Basenji, it's so sad 😢
The price varies. It'll depend on the breeder. I'd say in the range of $900-$1100 maybe. But it's been a while since we got ours so I really don't know.
Those are kennels. It's for the safety of the dogs. They get to to run and play in them and they also get time outside them with the breeder, but we weren't able to stick around long enough to see that.
I don’t believe so. She shows them. But I could be wrong about that, so if you would like to know for certain reach out to me by email and I will send you her email address.
I had an awesome Senji for 18 years and I can't bring myself to get anything else, I get so attached to this dog due to their personality so in the near future I will be looking to adopt but this time I want two of them, so any information on reliable breeders to go to is great. I don't do social media.@@BasenjiAdventures
