[Visiting a flower friend's garden to see mountain hydrangeas] wildflowers/hydrangeas/gardening 

Mountain hydrangeas have been growing wild in the mountains of Japan for a long time. They are much smaller than regular hydrangeas and bloom earlier. They have a rustic charm and can be grown in small gardens, and are also popular as bonsai.
I visited the garden of a friend of mine in early and mid-June, where he grows many mountain hydrangeas.
I'm a mountain hydrangea lover, and it's a blissful time to see so many mountain hydrangeas.
The friend is a mountain hiker, and grows not only mountain hydrangeas but also many other mountain wildflowers, and I was soothed by the gentle beauty of the natural garden of mountain wildflowers.
In spring, the garden was gorgeous and beautiful with roses and annuals, but in June, the mountain hydrangeas and hydrangeas gave it a different, more mellow atmosphere, which I was impressed by.
