Great work brother! Just to say giving to the corrupt UN/UNICEF wont really help much, as its the same people who run this that cause the problems.. you should look into the freemasons if you want to understand what im saying 'a call for an uprising' youtube channel is a great place to start.. also 'know more news' and 'israeli news live' are 2 more great channels which give you pure evidence on these people and what is happening in the world
Nick could you please start asking people what they think of US forces being there & if they think things would be better if the US left & let the Taliban & them figure things out themselves without the USA. Sadly I think If the US forces leave the Taliban will kill them & take over more and more land. Can you please ask questions al ok ng these lines. Thanks Nick.
Your tour guide, the guy you interviewed was very articulate and conveyed his message clearly to you. You do a wonderful job portraying the lives of a people we would never see on the news or media. Cheers from America.
Indigo Traveller | I was born and raised in London and I speak Farsi. I just want to say his translations weren’t 100% correct. Most of what he translated were 80% correct. But other than that, awesome video! I’m a Shia and I’m praying for those In Afghanistan as Shias get targeted more.
Aquestic just knowing a language doesn’t make you a translator. He is not doing verbatim translation, it would be wrong of him if he did. I’m a professional translator and author of two books on this subject and I can attest his interpretation is 100% accurate. He interprets the direct and implied meaning of the speaker’s statement. Nothing essential is lost in his interpretation and I bet his English is by far superior than yours , let alone his Farsi and Pashto. He sounds very educated and highly articulate. Also, it’s an edited video you don’t hear or see the complete conversation!
Adam Kaiser | I was just saying. I didn’t say anything bad about it. Like when he asked him to say to the kid something along the lines of “stay well” or “keep doing what your doing”, the Afghan guy replied “ thank you ‘name’ jaan”. All he said was thank you. But yu no big deal.
@@adamkaiser3835 I was looking for words to answer that uneducated criticism but you said it so well that I couldn't say it any better thank you God bless
My god, that Arion's (hope I spell his name right) monologue at the end? It left me in tears... How the Afghan people are able to endure the war and keep smiling and saying that they love their country is just unbelievable. Peace&Love
Yup and that's his whole point - even though as Afghans we are oppressed, brutalized and terrorized we'll never be conquered. Great video man. Thanks (Tasha-koor). :)
powerful capture & camera work, however, I have a feeling that in this video the random people interviewed often are afraid to speak there minds... especially the student in the blue jacket, maybe it is his difficulty with the language (what I interpret as internal tension maybe him looking for words), but he looks like he is Coerced into saying what he is saying... asking something like "are you happy in..." may, depending on the context, sound almost threatening (like you are accusing them of wanting to become a traitor to their homeland/hometown...) the guide, understanding your real interest & the situation (i.e. your real intent), & answers your questions honestly, however, the others, not so sure how much they preferred to keep to themselves.
battle grounds LOL didn’t take too long to find a comment like yours. Stupid people like you are the reason history is repeating itself. The Middle East never had found peace. They just had a short period of peace in between wars. Long before the US ever got involved. So maybe it’s time for you to open your eyes and stop being a sheep.
Good series. May I suggest: A “how to find/choose a local guide” video. It seems that you have been brilliant at finding legendary guides for all of your series. Thanks!
Very much appreciated..as it gives one insights into this troubled area of the world.. but surely more effort was needed to try to speak to Afghan women. How can you just relate to men and ignore women? Because this society is so primitive, backward, stricken by destruction and has terrible inequities, sickness, poverty, corruption, lack of institutions.. all the more so to try to reach men and women and try to convey their thoughts ...
Honestly the best RU-vid channel out there! Just from the sound of your voice I can see how much you care about so many issues. It's refreshing to see, I haven't seen any other RU-vidr talk with such truth and meaning in what they're saying. Keep it up nick
I can’t help but stare at how blue and beautiful the clouds were during Airon’s interview. It’s a sign of hope to me. Wishing Afghanistan would gain the peace it deserves.
I’m Afghan and went there during summer. Best experience of my life. There were so many happy and scary times but it was very enjoyable. The sky’s are like that every single day.
Arion is an amazing guide and interpreter. The way he conveyed his message at the end of the video was just amazing. This is a great series. Keep up the good work !
I hope sometime soon many more people will be able to travel safely and experience the beauty of Afganistan. It would be amazing to see this country and it's people prosper. This is a fascinating insight to Afganistan. Thank you for sharing.
Airon's words are sitting like a stone in my heart, soul and brain. I pray for comfort and joy and glad tidings this Christmas time. And for the enlightenment of those who have gone astray.
Arion is an excellent guide/interpreter! What a wonderful person he seems to be! Thank you so much for this amazing series and I can't wait to see what's next!
Nick, wow wow wow, Afghanistan is so beautiful, the people, the nature, I from the UK 🇬🇧 wish them peace more than anything, they are strong people, the whole world knows that, peace is all they need and deserve 🙏
After seeing this video clip and specially after hearing Aryan's hope, i from deep inside my heart began to love AFGHANISTAN. Lot's of love from NEPAL.
@Sam Ali My parents are Afghan so I can speak Farsi. My best friend is from Uzbekistan and she can speak Tajik. It is basically the same language. Just like you said, like British English and American English.
Very moving and emotional. Airon’s words sum-up the situation and hope for the future, he expresses himself so well with his love of family and country. Stay safe and blessing to the Afghanistan people.
WoW so beautiful, the people so nice and love their country despite ongoing chaos/war. Deep gratitude brother Nick for posting All your Travels. Love them All. Peace ✨
I was about to cry. I feel pain when I compare Afghanistan to its history. Balkh...! Incredible city... Zendeh bad Afghanistan!🇦🇫🤝🇮🇷 Thank you nick, god may save you!👋
nice. 🇮🇷 and 🇦🇫 both iranian brothers. i'm not middle eastern nor iranian, but i love iran, iranian culture, and i think iranian peoples are some of the most unique and beautiful people in the world. one of my goals is to visit iran. which part are you from? tehran, shiraz, qom, esfahan, bandar e abbas, yezd, tabriz, etc? i would also like to visit afghanistan too, but i won't be able to do that for the longest time. since there's no guarantee of safety and security. especially since afghanistan is very unstable and an intense geopolitical hotbed. i think iran would be better and far safer to visit. plus, i have more of an interest. as i'm obsessed with iran, cherish its history and culture
@@colonelsmith7829 hello! Yeah, I still live in iran. This is my Instagram username: itnoga_1965, I can answer your questions if you're interested in. Smith!👋
Colonel Smith You should visit Iran if you think Afghanistan is a bit too dangerous. The culture is practically same and most Iranians are also very hospitable people.
I see a different side of things in their country what they think and how they feel.. Then what other country news media says about em. I do hope one day that the country would have peace someday...
I love the slow motion clips of people as you capture their eyes staring at you.... Particularly the beautiful Afghan lady as her big brown eyes look right at your camera caught in a moment of life for ever... 👀👀.. so mesmerising and powerful... 😍😍
my mothers home town :) loved visiting here as a kid but it’s been a good decade since i’ve been. that amusement park and mosque was peak childhood for me i remember them so well
The Taliban had plan to destroy it because it's an important & respectable & gathering place for Shia Muslims that Taliban & ISIS are saying that they are infidels.
thanks for showing the positive side of Afghanistan to the world and letting them know how passionate and eager people over here are for peace and prosperity
Thank you so much for what you do. Really. I've volunteered in refugee camps several times and the Afghan people I met were so kind, so genuine. It always amazes me how resilient and compassionate they are. I hope they get the peace they deserve.
hey Nick I am so glad that I came across your youtube channel, I am one of your newer subscriber and so far I am loving you content. The reason I am very interested in your contents is because I just can access your journey in Afghanistan and I am personally from Afghanistan and immigrated to the United states about 6 years ago. Seeing the media always showing the dark sides of Afghanistan such as bombings, killings, etc it really makes me angry knowing that Afghanistan is a beautiful place with beautiful cultural and people because i've seen all of it with my own eyes as a kid because moving to the United states. however, after watching your videos it makes me happy knowing there is someone out there exploring the true reality in Afghanistan and actually sharing it to the whole world to see. Once Again thanks for your amazing content and keep on exploring ❤️.
This series is better than any news report or documentary about Afghanistan. This is my first true insight on the actual everyday Afghan people’s interaction w their situation. I had always wondered about that. Thank you for such an incredible vlog! 👍🏼
I have never commented on a vlog before. I have been following you since your visit to North Korea. I must say you are an amazing vlogger. I want to invite you to Pakistan. Stay blessed.
@@IndigoTraveller that's great it seems like you are planning to visit Pakistan. Please do let me know whenever you hit Lahore, Pakistan would love to show you around.
OMG the feeling that I got is unexplainable ,I wonder how Afghans teenagers that they were born in another country and never see their country , how is it feeling? I really appreciate you for doing such thing
I've never seen Afghanistan and it looks like another planet to me. I've always been mad at Afghan people because they don't get along with each other and we have to live and suffer in other countries. It feels like a curse that you're originality is from there
@@rosas4851 you can look at it as a curse and keep avoiding ur feelings about ur country Afghanistan has really more than just war and racism that you can't see plz look at ur history, culture and for ur future generations be a part of peace that bring a good future, with small action by every person there would be a great result plz love urself and ur country and be proud of ur nice things
I love that you used God rest ye merry gentleman as background music towards the end. Comfort and joy! Such powerful emotions yet seldom felt by the people of Afghanistan. I pray for comfort and joy for all. Good luck, Nick, and thank you for all that you do.
Huge respect to you, Nick. I have only lived briefly in Afghanistan when I was about 3 months, before my family and I fled to the west. Quite emotional hearing the bit from the interpreter in the end. We are indeed strong people. All the power to those who strive for the best and who work hard to make life better for themselves and those around them. Goodness will always prevail. Inspirational....
Your vlogs always leave me in absolute awe... Congratulations on doing what others dare not, and for capturing the human side of nations that most choose to be oblivious to. Wow!
Ariene seems like such a great man, ill miss seeing his face on your afghan vlogs! May he and his family along with the rest of the afghan people live a long and blessed life!!
Your absolutely right he is doing great job that shows the real positive , loving, brave & innocent mind of this injured country that have to deal with unfair force live.
The guide is very professional, he delivers perfectly the meanings of the interviewed' people using an appropriate language, tone and very good manners, he's also a natural with the camera so I think he should open his own vlog and give it a go ... I'm pretty sure it would be a success
I watch the video repeatedly and read the comments from the first till the last, (it makes me happy🙂) And felling so much hope for coming peace in my beloved country AFGHANISTAN. Since I came from Afghanistan to turkey, I realized that ! How bad the foreigners really think about Afghanistan and it's people. I really Thank you @Indigo Traveller for showing my country as I wanted to show it for the world.
Indigo/Nick. Love all your work, thank you. I think I have watched everyone of your pieces. This Afghanistan is the first series in which you have a much more serious demeanor, and you seem to struggle to smile and being your most light hearted self. Be safe and thanks for the informative adventures.
Aryan just watching the series in the UK this afternoon, I spent 2 military tours in Afghanistan, in 2004, 2012/2013 and it saddens to se me how the country is now. I enjoyed the almost 15 months of my life there, friendly people and some amazing places. Happy for you that you are safe and sound, hopefully one day you will be able to return to your homeland if safe to do so. Great job by the way with Nick making this programme.
