I’d really like to see them do more merch based on their rides. Feels like an overwhelming amount of generic branded toys and clothes you can get outside of a theme park
Agreed completely! That's something the Gold Coast parks really do poorly. How hard is it to put out a t-shirt with some Roller Coaster track? I'd buy them for sure
DC villains and the Batman boutique on Main Street bc I like going and looking at the window on the boutique because you can see dust marks from where catwoman scrapes the window!
One suggestion for movie world - in the shop at Wild West falls, I would move the barrel of road runner plushies and the sign with the associated discount to somewhere more visible and not by the exit. After already having made our purchases (spending more than the minimum required to get the discount for the plushie) and we were leaving, that’s when we saw the sign. They had to call a manager down and it took ages to somehow add the plushie to our previous transaction to get the discount. Staff were fantastic though!!!
I'm surprised it didn't automatically apply on the cash register! Glad you got it resolved and that's a good suggestion for sure. Surprised they didn't fix it after the incident.
Question: Do they just play a loop of the same few songs all day in the park? I hear The Trolley Song playing a lot in your videos, do they ever switch the music up?
I believe they have different playlists of songs that play depending on the time of day. In the late afternoon after the parade they start playing songs like The Trolley Song, Get Happy, etc. I never hear them when we visit earlier. It's always the same songs right before the parade too - bit sick of hearing them now to be honest haha
From the top of my head - food is basically $20-$25 for fast food combos, and for meals such as Loaded Fries / Nachos (the latter don't come with drinks). Healthier food (baked potatoes, sandwiches, etc) is a bit cheaper, ranging from $10-$16. Merch is mixed. Clothing is usually $25-$35 for T-Shirts, Toys range from $20-$40, etc. There are cheaper options there like pens, cups, books, etc. You can see prices for lots of items in the video In the future I'll try to include more details about the current prices. I'll probably do one regarding food in the near future. Thanks for watching!
A bit more variety would be welcome, especially when it comes to ride specific merch. It shouldn't be this hard to buy a shirt with a roller coaster on it!
