Visiting America's MOST ICONIC Travel Stops! RUBY FALLS In this video we stop at two of the most iconic travel spots in the whole Country! Yall come along and check it out!
Cool to see they added the short film and audio at the stops in the cave. Last few times I've been there were only lights and music at the falls. You need to do the lost sea too
So it is my understanding that these places like rock city after they opened up, they had someone drive down roads and ask the owners if they could paint their logo on their roof for 10 bucks or something like that. Great video. I am supposed to be up that way in august. I will try to add that to my itinerary.
I had heard my whole life that Rock City painted their barns for free if they could put the See Rock City part in high contrast on the roof or near the roof line.
We've stopped at both of those places on our way to Alabama. Loved them both!!! Story about how Ruby falls was found is awesome👍👍. I couldn't wait to hear what you had to say about the Fat Man Squeeze😂😂😂
The little figures name is “Rufus” yep that tight passage is called Fat Man Squeeze.. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there, it’s beautiful there ✅💥
I was a very small child when my parents took me to Rock City. They used to put big bumper signs on the cars in the parking lot while you were out exploring. I barely remember it. Great video and thanks for taking us along. Looking forward to some different kinds of adventures like this.
I know a few friends of the family that got their houses and barns leveled to the foundation up around Hartford ky/Owensboro ky area. Pure luck that all my family and their properties were unharmed
Ron, I was hearing a bunch of shapist comments....narrows down...too many biscuits and cheese balls....ha ha. Love those places, we have been years ago and you make me want to return! By the way, I was born here in Tennessee and when I was a little boy, I asked my Mom the same question, why is Rock City on all the barns and she and my Father told me that advertising people used to pay farm owners like 50 dollars back in the day to paint this advertisement on their barns and the amount has risen over the years, but that practice is still in use! Great Question that I asked my Mom like 55 years ago when I was little
Hey guys even though the video was almost 25 mins long y’all kept it interesting and I’ve been there before. As far as the fat man squeeze goes I’m in the same boat as you Ron 🤣
The nome looks like grayed out bearded Brad, but he's as small as beachbum!! Lol it like they had a baby together, an u came up with the gray haired bearded beachbum!! Lol
Cool video! Thanks for taking us along. Been awhile since I’ve been there. Very cool experience for sure. Next time you’re up in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, take 441 south back to P-Cola. Great video opportunities on that route with Newfound Gap, Clingmans Dome, Cherokee, NC, Tallulah Gorge, GA, school bus graveyard, & Jaemor Farms
I'm 6 feet, 7 inches tall and a little let's say "fluffy", so I didn't have a lot of fun at Ruby Falls or the Lost Sea in Sweetwater either. Big people aren't supposed to be spelunkers, I think.
Lol I'm about tired of you both coming to tennessee and not coming fishing with me...ur about to eat in trouble...oh and bring Eugene...I've got him a natty...🤣🤣🤣
Hey Ron & Sarah! Pretty cool place…Rock City, that is. I’m definitely NOT a Starbucks fan! I’m not gonna spend $3 or more for a cup of coffee when ‘I’ can make one for less than 50 cents! My 35 year old daughter is obsessed with that stuff…Ugh!…SMH. Beautiful sights and great videography! Stay safe y’all! ~Jim~
Thanks for taking us on your trip there is no way this fat man would have made it throw that area i was praying that your family wasn’t affected by the storms I’m glad that this is your family you make it fun with that beautiful wife of your just keep it going and I’ll support
Heck yeah very cool I was at both places when I was a teenager which has been about 45 years the waterfall still looks exactly the same but when I was there no colored lights . So I thought Beach bum was your official mascot L0l maybe call the gnome cheese ball I know you had some with you exploring the caves Ron ha ha all right brother talk to you soon
You were Soo close to the Lost Sea. If ya go back to pigeon forge check out parrot mtn. N ya should watch the Heartland series. You will love it. Every mtn person grew up watching it.

Y'all are in my neck of the woods! Y'all need to head 20 minutes south to Crockford-Pigeon Mtn WMA here in Georgia and go check out Rock Town and Hood's Overlook .
Thats a fun trip. We did it a few years ago. Did ya'll do the incline railway? Its a little sketchy and the Fairyland Cavern is super creepy. Another cool one is The Lost Sea near Knoxville, its a big underground lake with a little boat ride underground. Thanks for taking us along, enjoyed the video!
Wow! Those were some awesome places you guys visited! Ruby falls looks truly amazing. Thanks so much Ron and Sara for sharing the experience with us. You guys adventures are totally brilliant. Keep up the great work guys and thanks again for bringing us along! Peace and love from the UK💞
Thank you for allowing me to see those things because like you said if it wasn't for you I won't be able to because of the handicap part but thank you for showing I enjoyed it now what about Scrampy I think that's a cool name what do you think
When I was a kid there was a barn on Hwy.43 in Northport Al.that had see Rock City painted on the roof.. Lol...advertisment Ron.. Long before the internet..
Mister 2 pack and a side of biscuits, looks like a Wet Saint Bernard pushing through a Cat Door "think thin" - "be skinny" . The Gnome = Danny / in remembrance of Sara's Dad. That way he will always be with you in everything you do. Danny Gnome sounds like Daddy
