Hobsonville and Hobsonville Point are very beautiful suburbs Northwest of Auckland. Lots of newer houses and it was an ex-airbase as well. There is a costal walkway as well. You can take ferry , Bus (takes longer) or go to Constellation station (via Albany NX2 express) and take taxi to Hobsonville. Ofcourse driving is easy with well with well connected motorways.
