Happy birthday!! Was the pier open. We enjoy going on the rides on the central pier . The big amusement arcade is good with the pirate theme has free meals for kids and loads of exciting activities. Blackpool pleasure beach was before Disney and Walt Disney got the idea from it. No we are not drinkers . Air show is fantastic. Reasonable prices for rides.
@@sarahbarker8198 thank you the pier was open but very busy there was lot of queues for rides. I didn’t see the pirate theme restaurant we are going to take a trip back once it’s not so busy. And maybe even book Blackpool fun fair as I’ve not been since a child x
Happy Belated Birthday!! Never seen the attraction of Blackpool except for the lights when our son was small - come back to North Wales & enjoy the lovely places now you can get around to see it all in your car!! 🏴🏴🏴
Definitely prefer wales 🥰 and will 100% be back and exploring I actually said the petrol we wasted going to Blackpool we could have gone to wales but it was nice to see I suppose we’ll be back soon 🏴♥️
If you drive through blackpool to Lytham St Annes it is so much nicer for your children, 5 mins from Blackpool pleasure beach. It has an outdoor paddling pool, trampolines and little ride on train and a cute pier, shops lovely beach xx Blackpool is not what it used to be ... we avoid it and head to Cleveleys or St Annes xx
Very interesting vlog this 👌💯🙌‼️ Definitely didn’t see the best of it, this is from my own experience… I was lucky I suppose.my mother in law and sister in law was with us and knew where to go. All I know is we caught the tram and a few miles down was a big market and another stop in a little town,with plenty of shops close by was great. Obviously,this was a mega shopping trip- I actually nearly had to buy another case but settled on a shopping trolley lol. I can’t remember the names of these places but I guarantee someone will know. Yes,a lot of arcades in the centre by the tower,a few shops unless there’s been a lot of changes xxx
She kept mentioning a market but we didn’t see it we walked the whole stretch from by the swimming baths right up to the tower but no further up the back streets had shops but where all closing I think we need to go back with Sue and she can show us about. We’ve been told of a local park which is apparently brilliant so going to check that out too xx
@@6littlelambs ask sue did she take the tram or the train down to where the market is…and a stop at a small town where there’s shops,a few stops before? If she knows,she will say straight away.we went down twice.do much shopping. But obviously this was a good few years back 7/8 yrs… the camaraderie was on fire,such a good laugh. We went in April- no lights,no big parties going on either- if I remember correctly,it is a big party place but wonder if this is in the summer xxx

It wasn’t what I was expecting if I’m honest but I’ve been told to go back when it’s not summer holidays go early to have a full day check near by park which apparently is amazing and the back streets which have markets etc there was queues for the arcade machines never seen nothing quite like it tbh. X
Blackpool is nice but not really for little ones in football season girls enjoyed it though and at least you can say you’ve been glad Sues a bit better xx
@@6littlelambs In Blackpool I think you need to be willing to spend money to have a good time we go every Boxing Day because we dont have good shops. Would you ever come to Cumbria.
@@gemma-3261 since going I’ve been told of other areas to visit which sound lovely so we are going to go back and give it the benefit of the doubt I was also told by my cousin when I was telling her in detail how it felt etc that it’s usually not like that and to go once the summer holidays are over so that’s the plan to go back x
