Thanks for this vdo made me cry I missed the Sto. Nino Church so much been away for so many years. Lots of better good changes has been made, before we can take photos kiss touch the groto of the Sto. Nino very miraculous I received His miracles many times even up to now even so far away from Him but He is very close near to our hearts. Before during my younger years one can pray closer near to Magellan's Cross. Oh how I took those times for granted. Been there very very few times. Taoban Market was before called Taboan I think if not mistaken use to buy from a shop there some Salbaro, Utap & Chitcharon.

hi fern, been watching your vlogs since manila clearing days, so glad you came here to feature cebu. however, you have to come back and feature carcar, south of cebu, our own calle crisologo of vigan. there are several heritage houses there open to the public. see you around. btw, the sandiegos of the yap-sandiego heritage hse is from carcar.

FINALLY! ito ang gusto kong makita. Casa Gorordo!! Everytime i am in Cebu in the 80's i make it a point to go to Casa Gorordo. Hindi pa ganyan ang paligid niyan. I love listening to the stories of my grandparents and grand Aunts regarding the not like ours ghosts who lived in the Casa. True enough in 1990 i brought my husband and my daughter to have a tour in the Casa. We were able to video our visit all corners pa. In one of those bedrooms where a daughter occupies, my daughter sat down on the bed and i took a picture of her. To our surprise when we developed the film, there is a very very beautiful lady at the back of my daughter with her two hands laid on my daughter's shoulder smiling with gusto. Nagpakita ang babae. Sayang hindi ko na makita yung picture at yung betamax tape.

Hello Sir Fern. Sorry for correcting you about the TABOAN market. The place is famous in cebu for their dried fish products. Kaya cguro tinawag na taboan kasi tabo-tabo ang bentahan ng mga dilis, danggit etc 😂🤣😅

Sa loob po ng BPI may museum na nagpapakita ng mga lumang pera ng Pilipinas mula Spanish period.

You don't make the most of your Cebu visit. You miss a lot more historical places like MUSEO SUGBO, built in 1870s as Carcel de Cebu become a prison of katipuneros during the spaniards and Filipino guerillas and American soldier during WWII , walking distance from Magellan's cross you will find the historic PLAZA INDEPENDENCIA and nearby FORT SAN PEDRO which is originally the first fort build by the Spaniards in the country. Behind the Cebu Cathedral there is THE CEBU CATHEDRAL MUSEUM. Anyway maybe next time you will need a Cebuano guide.
