It's so very interesting to see the many different ethnicities in Muli city; before your videos, I didn't know China was so diverse. Eya was also very interesting, and the people are so friendly and open! I wondered about your motorbike, but when I saw some of those roads, I'm glad you took the buses instead! Thank you for these wonderful insights into China!❤😊
Such beautiful place that is out of the eyes of the world. The fact that the homes have no doors really shows how peaceful this place is! Great video, thank you.
So interesting, but what I find is amazing is the old city and at the side this modern fabulous bridge road over a valley that you just see in China. The people always look so happy, laughing. So magic.
The roofs with vegetable gardens have solar hot water panels on them. This is what we wanted for New York City back in the 70's. To have our own hot water systems & veggies. Glad to see someone doing it successfully! A magical video! Thanks!
Thanks for another beautiful video. It is wonderful to see how friendly people are and it never ceases to surprise me the people who have the least are prepared to share the most and find happiness in all the things around them. ❤️
And again thank you for taking me to places in China that other wise i would never see let alone experience and for your professionalism in the production of this video much appreciated
Wow, what a fascinating culture. They must have no crime, what a wonderful trusting people. Thank you for this unique experience; I never would have had it without your vlog.😊
Thanks dear Yan for bringing fans to Muli business city and ancient primitive Eya village. The narrow mountain road to Eya needs indeed bus driver's skills. You visited a friendly Eya family, their houses are interconnected on roof tops to neighbours. An interesting peaceful life with ethnic marriage traditions, fans look forward for your interview with them. God bless your excellent excursions. 😊
Hi Yan I Saw first time see roof top vegetables.Old people not use Mobile.but young generation used Android set.Your drone short is very good .i think Your video is a gift after 50 years .People show children your videos.thanks
They don't use the Android OS but one domestically by TenCent or Alibaba. But, it's amazing that they're connected to the rest of China by internet as well as by paved roads.
I really enjoyed this video so much. So many beautiful places. The village is so wonderful and the people seem so happy and content. It's so special. I worry the road will bring bad things to these beautiful people. I really love the way they've built everything over so long. Seems so peaceful. Thank you so much for showing me, I feel blessed for just seeing it. Thank you for sharing your adventures with me.
OH OH Yan, I thought the Golden Eagle might get a bit wobbly in flight that brew looked a bit strong,😀Yan wonderful video, many different Cultures & Groups, the People are just wonderful, its those beautiful terraced farming plots stepped up & down the Mountain & Hills is a way of keeping water up into the farming plots, brilliant this is a procedure carried out around the world, China & Tibet & other Countries have been doing this for 5000 years or more, in Australia their was a Man called PA Yeoman's who was a Mining Engineer & Farmer extra, who invented Key Line Farming using the system to keep the water up the hills Contour Up the Hill & Contour Down the Hill , using a ripper to open the soil and keep the water up so the field could be naturally irrigated with low rain falls, also by putting in Dams on the Key line, so you can flood irrigate from the Dam along the contours ,its more to it but its wonderful, Yan did you know that the first Irrigation Dam was Made in Northern China some 5000 years , so I find it interesting how these people use the top of their Houses for growing food, Yan your Video showing the Greenery of those valleys & Mountains its a Beautiful Video, I learn something every day, its a joy watching how other cultures do their Farming , Keep up your Wonderful Work Yan, Bless you, Regards Trevor.W.Bacelli. You are such an excellent storyteller about these places and people. I always learn something from your travels and interactions with the people you meet. Thank You!
In the past, these ethnic minorities migrated to remote mountainous areas to escape war and basically lived a self-sufficient farming life. The government has always wanted to relocate them outside the mountains, but many local people are unwilling to move and hope to continue their traditional life. If they move outside the mountains, they will lack the means of survival. Only young people are unwilling to stay in the mountains, leaving only some elderly people and people without skills to continue living in the mountains.
Amazing village and interesting buildings architecture. Beautiful people and culture. The lady is so friendly keep serving you their home made liquor. Thanks for sharing such an interesting video!
Very nice and informative video. Thanks for sharing. It is interesting learning the diverse culture, religion, writing and language among the different minorities in China.
Amazing video as always, it's so good that we get to learn about other cultures, and I'm always blown away at the massive diversity of China, its people and culture. Awesome!
They don't want you to go mushroom picking with them because then they won't have their secret spots anymore! 😂 Edit: The family was so sweet. It's always special meeting such nice people. I wish we had more of them around the world.
It maybe redundant saying it but still I will! WOW AND FASCINATING 🎉 INDEED UNSEEN CHINA 🎉❤, , That we may forget what we see and know thru mainstream media and international politics 😊
Hi Yan, this place is very unique. Really appreciate if you can share on how the sewage facilities, how they get the clean water and electricity, also can you pay by wechat 😂 really curious how they live in the remote area in China.
Yan drinking MOONSHINE!!! 😂😂😂. Another great video and you're over 400k!! Maybe you can interview the cat that tried getting in the picture. Great video!!!
The less they have, the more generous they are. Filing the bowl to the brim even for the initial taste. I would just fill a small thimble in case she wastes the good stuff!
Hello, very nice vlog 😊✌️ Polyandry is still common in some parts of the world, it's interesting this tradition still survives in some remote parts of China .
Someone compare the primitive village to that of native American life before colonization! I think it's quite accurate interm of people living a subsistence life, who are self sufficient in produce everything they consume from foods, hand bags to wine! Hope they can make their culture well know to the rest of China and can support them by purchasing their hand crafted goods!
Thanks for your hard work to let me know this most primitive village in China. Yan. I am always curious about the tradition and culture of ethnic minorities!
It would be interesting what the public reads in their inner circle from TV, newspaper and Social media. Do they have physical newspapers, now in the age of digital? Thanks 😊.
Even in Nepal one women marry two man but it should be one family like two brother marrying one wife mainly in Himalayan region but now their no such thing but many years back it was common one women marrying two brothers.
If this the Chinese last primitive village, then the Chinese have come a long long way yet open enough for woman to have a few husbands. Freedom in China??? Still hard life but the villagers seems thriving. Electricity and clean water, even mobile phone signal and satellite dish. See children in school uniforms. At this rate in 3 years, access roads will better. Likely to have even 5G and gas. It may turn into the most primitive village in China which earn income from tourism...maybe not. Preservation. Actually a beautiful rustic primitive village in China. Kudos to Yan for bringing us this.
Well, first of all, you need to be able to speak mandarin and read chinese characters to use the map to navigate the area. Even if you know Mandarin, some of these villages speak their own ethnic language or mandarin in an accent that you can't even fathom.
wow those garden roofs are so dangerous. definately wouldnt want to be living the floor underneath. should contact the local government for building inspections.
