BERGKIRCHWEIH 17th.-28th. May, 2018 in Erlangen (Bavaria). Huge oktoberfest like festival. People even get off from work to go there.

Conner, you have to go to "Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt" in Bad Dürkheim, it is the biggest Winefest of the World, and we don´t talk fancy little Wineglasses, we talk about 0,5l "Schoppe" with Wine Schorle in a "Dubbeglas". You have to go there, drink some "Rose Schorle" or "Cola Rot" (Coke with Red Wine). It is from 7.-17. of September in 2018. And funfact, in Bad Dürkheim is the Worlds largest Winebarrel. Go there and have fun, take Silas with you! Bad Dürkheim is in Palatine (Rheinland Pfalz), don´t miss it out!

You have to visit the Pferdemarkt in Fritzlar, it's begins on 12. July. It's one of the biggest "Volksfest" in Hessen. And it's only 55km away from Marburg, and btw, it's a medieval Town with a lot of "Fachwerkhäusern". And in August, we have the Kaiserfest. A Medieval Fest, it starts 19. August. Fritzlar is worth a visit!

Theres another traditional Festival in Dinkelsbühl (a small town in Bavaria) called „Kinderzeche“. Dinkelsbühl is known for it‘s beautiful medieval city and obviously for the Kinderzeche which has a long tradition and an amazing history. In the Kinderzeche week there are a lot of Events in the city and everyone has a good time. Defininetely worth checking out. I live near Dinkelsbühl and it’s really awesome. Kinderzeche is from july 13th to 22nd this year.

This Frühlingsfest is an Volksfest, it comes to almost every german town for a guess 2 weeks. In Hamburg its called Hamburger Dom and it there 3 times for about 1 month. For example in Summer its the Sommer Dom.

Hey Conner, if you want to check out the biggest sailing festival in the world visit the „Kieler Woche“ in Kiel, Schlesweig Holstein. It takes place in the last full week of June (15. to 24. this year). It is a very different kind of festival than those in southern Germany and it’s basically a street festival in the whole city with a *3million* visitors What is kinda different from other fests is the „international market“ where you can buy food from all places around the world and you can get crocodile, kangaroo, moose, etc. etc. Highlight would be the biggest sailing race in the world and the firework over the sea at the last day. Maybe you want to see a different side of german fests 😁

You have to come to our jazz festival in idstein, Hessen. It’s from the 8.-10. June. Very early this year. And we have a lot of Festival in Wiesbaden. Folklore per example. Or gibber Kerb and schiersteiner hafenfest. It’s both a little bit like a smaller funfair. Wiesbaden has also the big American base where Elvis Presley was by the time he went to Germany. And there are many Americans that live here and work for the army. They have huge areas with American shopping centers and stuff. And they make a German American friendship festival every year.

THE 'Bienenmarkt' in Michelstadt! It's awesome you have to go there its from 18.may until 28.may comme down here in the south of germany

Go to Wacken 2018 (Aug 2nd - 4th). Whole nother expirience and its in northern Germany ;)

You should come to lollapalooza in Berlin

In mid july ~12 there is the "Seehasenfest" in Friedrichshafen and one week later when school ends there is the "Rutenfest" in Ravensburg, Both in Baden-Württemberg if you want.

You should visit "Rock am Ring" near Bonn/ Cologne. Biggest Rockfestival in Europe. Begins June 1st and ends June 3rd. Thousands of people camping around and have a big party.

Cranger-Kirmes this is one of the biggest "Volksfeste" in Germany. It's in Herne and Herne is in Nord-Rhein-Westfalen. It's really cool and you get very good food!

Next weekend there is the carneval of cultures in Berlin, which is awesome!!! Let's go babay!

I was 3-4 times at the frühlingsfest/wasen but I never drove any vehicel there. You have to buy tickets in a good tent. After that you get a half chicken or like we say "halbsgöggele" to your beer. After that dance like a crazy person at your tabel. We do this every year like that.

You have to go to a Fastnachtsumzug in Baden-Württemberg. They are everywhere around "Bundesland" in february.

in a very small town near augsburg, called kühbach was last weekend an nice festival. Its a festival of a brewery and the athmosphere was much better as the athmosphere at the wasn :D

You must visit the festival in Erlangen near Nuremberg. It's called Erlanger Bergkirchweih. Ith very traditional and if you ant to visit it you need to wear your Lederhose
