Beautiful town with some really attractive streets. The Cathedral is unusual in having two very different stones used for construction. Also unusual that it is shared by Protestants and Catholics. When you consider the atrocities committed in the name of both traditions in the past, particularly during the wars of religion, it is so wonderful and encouraging to see. Hope you have a great weekend.
From Wetzlar I learned that there are "simultaneum" or shared churches between Protestants and Catholics in various cities in Germany. It's a really interesting historical fact! I hope you have a great week :)
