I'm pleased you also sprayed the base. I was thinking it might have been streaked from the drips if you hadn't thought to include that part. lol, I'm really OCD. 😁 It will be stunning when a little time and some strong showers finish its cleaning cycle. Amazing Product. Great work guys! Great share.

I'm appalled & disgusted with Dollar General & the state of NC (I'm a resident of NC) for allowing them the graves to be paved over. Shame on all of them!!! I don't typically ship at dollar general but I never will again. Furthermore I come from a family full of history lovers. I will make sure they know the story.

I'm 61 and sadly no one in my family are interested in our family history, so my knowledge of it will die with me, I lived with my grandmother, so I can go back to the 1830's with our history.

@forgottenfilmchannel1194 4 месяца назад
That maybe true now but in the future someone will want to know about their past. If the family doesn't care please take the time to write down the history, pull your old photos, identify who you are able to and donate the collection to your state library. They will preserve it for the future and maybe post the collection so that others can enjoy and use it for research.

Love the Kinston,NC callout. The battle of Kinston was on December 14,1862 and was part of the Goldsboro expedition for the Union Army. The battle before that was the Battle of New Bern with Georgia parts of the CSA fighting the Union. He probably died after the battle in one of the houses or Churches that were used as medical hospitals if he died in 1863. I’m from the Area so this is cool to hear about it and had people in my family fighting at the battle

On my mother’s side all is from Alabama n I give anything to know the town or county they were buried in. Of course my mother n father were cremated n their ashes are on a big hill top in Blairsville,Georgia. I’m the only living relatives left on my mamas side. My step father dragged us around Europe while he was stationed there going from one cemetary to another. We mostly played on the playground while they took pictures and talked to people. It was funny how the borders changed over the years. We met a relative that was chief of police in Luxenbourg and farmers in Bitburg and many others on the way collecting the names of mire relatives. Wish I had paid more information but we were young. My brother has all the info.

Great video Dan and Robert - as always 😀 Dan, I loved the comment about being kin to everyone under the sun🤣 Well, I am one of those "under the sun" relations from NC. My great great grandfather was Samuel David Briley. The first time you mentioned in a past video of your great great grandmother Mowina Briley and the relations from Anson County NC I began digging into my Briley branch of our family tree and was able to connect to your Mowina Briley, which puts us as 7th cousins.😀 I am one of the four historians in my family and have heard the phrase "related to eveyone under the sun" more times than I can count!! 🤣🤣 In addition to family trees, I also just love discovering old family cemeteries, which makes family history research all the more fun!! 😀🤣

Awesome family history guys. Dan's visit to N.C. for confederate relative burial place reminds me of my neck of woods a/lot of unmarked civil war graves. Many warehouses going up but little plots are left with unmarked civil war dead. In Resca Ga. After the battle, John Green's family returned to their plantation and the sight that met them there was almost more than they could bear. The bodies of confederate soldiers were buried in crude makeshift graves all across their yard. Compelled by a sense of respect to those who had fallen in action, Mary J. Green and her sister began collecting the bodies to bury properly. Though poverty was rampant, the 2 Green daughters wrote friends asking for any amount money they could give. Col. John Green, the superintendent of the Georgia Railroad, gave his daughters 2.5 acres of land for use as a cemetery for these soldiers. With the money collected and the land provided, the 2 daughters & their mother began work on what is now called the Resaca Confederate Cemetery. This particular cemetery is designated for the soldiers that fought in the Battle of Resaca which took place May 14 & 15, 1864. From the two days of battle, there are only three graves where the death date is listed as May 15, 1864. The remaining graves are listed as May 14, 1864. Some of the soldiers were identified but there are still 424 of the 450+ graves marked as 'unknown'.

That stuff sure works. A biologic takes time. It's like killing moss on the concrete. Have to kill the stuff first, and it will fall away eventually. Now, having run detail shops for several years, I had to train alot of employees how to spray expensive cleaners. Not as a criticism, but you need to practice application of that D2. Get a spray bottle of Windex, and go to a window to practice. You have to start at the BOTTOM first, because if you start at the top, you will always get lines running down, that will leave traces of better cleaning. So, hold the bottle in your hand, and starting at the bottom corner, spray and move at the same time. Use your wrist to move back and forth, at the same time you're spraying. Don't just keep squeezing in a random form, every which way. Go across the bottom, and move your way up line by line to the top. Efficiency to save on product. Move the fan as you squeeze, back and forth back and forth. That way you don't have pockets of overkill chemical in circles all over the surface. An even fan of equal amounts of chemical saves money, and creates an even surface to work with.
