Love the thermal baths. Love the hot water dispenser. That goat cheese looked delicious! That’s one huge lawn at Arlington. Seems super peaceful. Fajitas and sunset are right up my alley! Thanks for sharing!
the effect of the water on the rocks is amazing! so... GREEN! nice spot on the river for a feed too! Looks like a seriously interesting place to explore! thanks for sharing - something different!
Excellent job on the video. I am planning a road trip through the states in September. I might have to check this place out. The hot springs look like they would be great after a long drive. Thanks for showing me this place.
I think I was there a number of years ago.. these smaller towns and cities are so much fun to hit and see what is going on there.. the vibe is totally different. The baths were a good idea to show for sure... i didnt see that small waterfall thats so hot... nice
If you continued up the Grand Stand, you would walk along behind bathhouse row on the Promenade, which leads to the Springs across from the Arlington. They also have cement benches that have built in checker/chess boards on them. Moved to Hot Springs 3 years ago from NJ...best move I have ever made!!! Love it here!!!
Loved the video, headed there next weekend. I was curious why you said it was the oldest national park/ I believe Yellowstone lays claim to that title. Just got back from Acadia in mid-June, but I want to watch your take on it!
You are actually right about Yellowstone. I misinterpreted the information I got. Now it is one of if not the oldest "federally protected lands" in the US. That goes back to Andrew Jackson being designated a Reserve. Back then "National Park" didn't exist as we know it. However, it was what you could consider a prototype of a National Park. 1921 was when it officially joined the register of National Parks. Did not know this at time of shooting. I was going off of local lore.
If you're passing through on a road trip across Arkansas, take some time to stop off at Hot Springs, AR. Part of the National Park, it is a great place to take a Thermal bath and just soak the dust of the road away.
Damn you really are getting into the Southern country spirit these days, I love it! I most definitely would be checking out those thermal baths, what an amazing place to relax! You always do tend to find the most amazing places to do some eating whilst on your travels! Awesome job as always!
