THE TEMPLE OF TOOTH RELIC - It is originally the last palace of Sri lanka . The palace of Kandy (Maha Nuwara) which was home for more than 20 kings including the last king .after the last king was captured and later the sacred tooth got moved into the palace courtyard building a new building with a golden roof .If you observed it closely you can see that the golden roofed building and the main building are two separate buildings with two different architectures THE SACRED TOOTH OF BUDDHA - Its the Right Jaw Bone of Buddha which was the sign of Royalty of Sri Lanka for centuries . which means whoever the king of Sri Lanka should be a Buddhist and the Guardian of the Sacred Tooth ..And every kingdom had a special temple to keep the Sacred Tooth which was similar in architecture to the golden roofed building (temple of tooth)

Hi Mike and Steph My girlfriend and me want to visite Sri Lanka in February. We are vaccinated, thus only required a max 72h old PCR + 12 USD Health Insurance to enter the country. We were wondering, wow is the situation inside the country? Are there restrictions, curfews, masks mandatory, etc.? Thank you so much for your help, as it is hard to find any information of live inside the country and we would love to visit!
