So nice to see you guys on video again. Harriet and I have been to the gardens . Great video that touches all the right notes. You are right , take the time to smell the flowers and take in the sites. Sending you much love🥰 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Thanks so much guys!!! Yes, it feels like it’s been AGES since posting, and I’m glad to be back! So fun to hear that you’ve visited Keukenhof as well! Do you have a favorite color tulip? Mine favorites are the multicolor ones with the fuzzy tips.
Great video with helpful tips.I will be visiting the Keukenhof on May 7th from Ireland with my Dutch friend Corrie. We will also hopefully spend a day each in Leiden and Haarlem.Looking forward to my visit.I just looked at your community page and saw your precious baby Gwen.Congratulations to you both and enjoy parenthood 😊
Thanks so much Sharon! Gwen is such a blessing for us! 😀 Sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned! I actually have a Haarlem video filmed that I still need to edit and release. I love that town, and I hope you enjoy it, too!
Yeah two days in Amsterdam means you should just stick around Amsterdam and see the sights there. I LOVE that city! When you prepare for your trip, feel free to check out my Amsterdam video with tips that I posted last November!
Such good tips, Eliz! Going on a weekday and going early or late is such good advice for ANY PLACE that is a tourist trap. We are always rewarded for being early birds 🐦!
I love tulips they're one of my favourite flowers, so one day visiting Keukenhof is definitely on the bucket list! It looks stunning and it was nice to see that it was a place that elderly people in wheelchairs could enjoy a day out as well.
I have never been to this wonderful garden, but would love to visit! I have, however, then to the tulip festival in Pella, Iowa. I highly recommend it! In addition to thousands of beautiful tulips, they also have local people dressed in traditional Dutch attire and lots of food trucks serving authentic Dutch food! It's super fun!
I should definitely try to go to Pella! I've been to Holland, MI, so I'm curious how the two Dutch towns in the midwest will feel different from each other!
Those tipps are good! I've been in Keukenhof twice already and thinking of going next week, but the last time is quite a few years ago. Watching your video made me go "Oh, yes, right, I remember, I should consider that!"
I did indeed!! Gwen arrived on 2/21, and I posted a couple photos of her on my channel's community page last Thursday! I'm slowly crawling out of the twilight zone newborn stage. It's day by day!
