Wood Sculptor, Salem Barker becomes part of the famed Montalto Bohlen Collection. Bob and Lilian graciously give Salem and a couple friends a tour of the entire collection. The video is a very brief overview of a portion of it.
The piece I created is made of colored and laminated birch wood. The base is solid steel. This sculpture sold before I had the chance to photograph it professionally. See more at www.SalemBarker...

Hi Salem, we met at your show this past week in Vero Beach. I know Bob very well as I mentioned, such a nice video of Bob and Lillian's home and so glad you are now part of his collection. The piece you have in Bob's collection stood out to me on your instagram account. Love it, and a very difficult piece to make I am sure. Great stuff, you are a genius.

Wow! Congratulations :) I had never heard of the Montalto Bohlen Collection until this video. Just read an article on google about it and I think it's awesome what Bob and Lillian are doing for the wood art world! Very impressive pieces in their collection....and your sculpture fits right in and is a great addition to it. Thanks for sharing :)
