What makes this market so unique is that it's situated along an active railway track. Several times a day, a train passes through the market, and vendors quickly retract their stalls and goods to make way for the train, only to set them up again once the train has passed.
The market sells a variety of fresh produce, seafood, meats, snacks, and souvenirs.
Visitors can witness the fascinating sight of vendors swiftly moving their goods as the train approaches, making it a popular spot for tourists and photographers.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market:
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is one of the most famous floating markets in Thailand, located in Ratchaburi Province, about 100 kilometers southwest of Bangkok.
The market is set up on a network of canals, where vendors sell their goods from boats laden with fresh fruits, vegetables, cooked food, souvenirs, and traditional handicrafts.
Visitors can explore the market by boat, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and experiencing traditional Thai culture.
It's best to visit the market in the early morning to avoid the crowds and experience the market at its liveliest.
