Life in Guatemala looks great on you guys! I love all the colors in the market-between the fruits and the fabric it is so vibrant! That breakfast looks incredible-we eat black bean tortillas for breakfast all the time so I guess we would fit right in 😃 thanks for sharing guys! Hola amigos alemanes... Chichicastenango means «land of the ortigas» or «wall of ortigas». Ortigas is a plant called «chichicaste». Is itchy and people try to avoid to touch it. For this reason people used to plant it in fences to prevent intruders.
