Wow, it messes with my head seeing the building in "real life". It's kind of haunting, because it looks no different. And always weird to be reminded that the indoor scenes were filmed elsewhere.
I went there yesterday and my mind was blown. Homeless camps up and down that street now. Was sketchy AF and pretty sad. My Lyft driver didn’t want me to get out of the car to take a picture. I’ve always wanted to see that building and it was a little soul crushing.
I totally understand. That's how L.A. is now. Tons of homeless people everywhere. At least the homeless dude living in front of the dunder mifflin building was nice. He was very amazed with the drones. Said tons of people stop by to take pictures, but you really can't see much from the street, so they mostly leave disappointed
Just an FYI the sound studio was not located within this building thats also used for the exterior scenes. It was actually located on the building to the left of the building used for filming exterior scenes.
Things were really cramped in season 1 when they shot it inside an actual office building. The actors, camera crews, directors, writers, sound crew were all squeezed into tight quarters. Everyone was much more comfortable when they switched to a sound stage
@@TruDroneVideos according to the office ladies podcast, some outdoor scenes, they have to make sure that there were no California palm trees included in the shot. 😅
Thanks for watching, souradeep. I've enjoyed your music. Do you have any copyright free stuff? I'm always on the look out for music that I can use in my projects
This kinda makes me sad! The empty dunder mifflin! Hahaha 😝 it must be just a weekend right? I feel like Dwight will come out and yell at the drone if this was shoot on a weekday hahahah
This was epic! Big fan of the office over here in the UK but feel the American version might be better... looks like you’ve got some great content on this channel so I’ll definitely be watching more! - Nick
I also am subscribed. :D Thanks for bringing me the memories back of my favorite show. :) *The Office* I hope it actually comes back this year in 2021. :D
Its a shame of how rundown the place looks nowadays. Do a drone shot of the season 1 filming location in Culver city! I can provide the street if you are looking to do some shots over there!
@Tru Drone Videos Aw darn, anyways I have a Google Drive folder with a lot of photos and floor plans. Check it out! drive.google.com/drive/folders/16Zli8zB8d54o12NTCEgPL8hJ5MDSy8eX
@Tru Drone Videos Actually, if you can't fly I would still love to see some shots of the building (non-drone). I hope to visit it someday but I want to see the state of the building (if it's been renovated or changed at all). I hope its not a big thing to do but it would be so cool if you could.
The shots are amazing though I’m not familiar with the office. I feel like I’m still a tadpole when this show aired 😅. But it’s nice to see the actual location. After seeing you video, I’m kinda thinking of checking out this show. I mean, I’ve seen the memes from this show so I bet it’s gonna be great when I watch it😊
Thanks for checking us out. I would definitely recommend watching The Office. It takes some getting used to, and the first season is not their best. But the show is critically acclaimed
Hurts to know that this building no longer looks like it did in The Office, as of Feb 2022, a company called “Quixote Studios” took over the Chandler Studios building & sadly…. repainted it all completely white.
@@TruDroneVideos It was for me as well. I'm dying to make it out there and see it for myself. I feel like that place holds so many memories, even though I've never been out there.
Yes, though it was all Chandler Valley Studios. Just a different stage. Both stages are all white now after being bought by Quixote in 2022. Its sad to see how plain it looks now.
@@TruDroneVideos I was in the crew. The speed machine was there for legit reasons and not for the show. The cast later used this and it was a impromptu add to episode
Omg The Office lives on and I own it both on iTunes and dvd but why is this making me sad and miss it! I am gonna visit it one day but how you edited it so beautifully makes me feel like I’m watching someone’s memorial!
Just saw this! I’m wondering if I could get in touch with you? I tried to find your email, but it wasn’t listed. Can you shoot me an email: mulverinefilms@gmail.com?
