I’ve visited Istanbul 8 or 9 times and I’ve been invited into the homes of some lovely random people who insist on feeding me and serving me lots of tea, even though they might not speak English and I only speak a few words of Turkish. Great people - I always speak very highly of Turkey and the Turks.
