During a recent vacation to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, we visited the Perot Museum of Science and Nature (named after the late H. Ross Perot and his late wife Margot. This museum has five floors of displays featuring about a dozen exhibits. They were all we done with lots of hands on activities covering fascinating topics from the natural world. And while we were there in the spring of 2023 (and until September 4, 2023), the museum featured an exhibit called The Science Behind Pixar was on display. It told the story of the computer generated animation process used to create the popular Pixar films such as Toy Story, The Incredibles and more. Join us as we show you just some of the many highlights from this great museum!

The display on how the body moves is really cool! This looks like a really great museum! It covers so many different topics. The crystals are amazing! The Science Behind Pixar exhibit looks fantastic. There is so much work that goes into making an animated film. Thank you so much for taking us along!

We both love a museum and would really love to see the Science Behind Pixar exhibit, it looks great. What a fabulous looking building....and LOVE the T-Rex-calator!! I love the dinosaur area but could have lived without knowing how many bugs I might accidentally eat a year. ick. So many fantastic exhibits, We've taken a bit of a Disney break too but do love Pixar....the first movie we ever saw together was a Pixar movie! Thanks for introducing us to such a great museum!

You were lucky to catch the interesting Science behind Pixar exhibit. Wonderful museum and it sounds like you could have spent the whole day. This museum looks like loads of fun. I really like all the science exhibits. The new dinosaur was interesting and a new one for me. I thought it was an elephant at first. This covers so much across the spectrum of science. Glad to see you survived the earthquake. The Pixar exhibit looked really interesting. I find their medhods of animation and character creation fascinating. That's crazy that you were there 4 hours and still didn't see it all. Must be a massive museum. No Disney for 1.5 years? I completely understand. You go to a lot of really fun places and sometimes you just don't want to go to the same places all the time. We may go every 2 years or so on average, so you definitely go more than us. Excellent video and I appreciate learning about Perot Museum.

Never heard of this museum. So many cool displays! The earthquake simulation was crazy 😝.. love seeing the gemstones so neat! Love the Pixar exhibit as well

My kids and I would love it there. Pixar movies are my kids favorites. I have never experienced an earthquake and that would be sufficient enough for me.

Oh my goodness!! That looks like a great museum.I believe I would love it and I know my husband would. That place is huge!! The Pixar part was cool too.. didn't appear to be crowded either.. thanks for taking us with you on this tour!!

Hi both this museum looked great, and it was a unique design. There seemed to be so many exhibits here and the splay system area looked so interesting love the sound of the musical forest. The dinosaur place our son would love and its great that they have the fossils on show. The living things area looked so good too and so did the human exhibits. The science behind Pixar must be fascinating to see, I would love to have seen how they make these films. There really was a lot that you showed us and you said you didn't even see it all ! Seemed so good and at a good price too. Great tour 👍~ Anna

Leap Frog section so Rosalie would love this. It’s so weird and cool at the same time. Never heard this museum before. The Dino section is what I would be all about. Alice’s back makes a cameo. Getting closer to the face reveal. Pixar Exhibit seems so cool. I would be there for all the cool IG photos.

That's a cool Museum! I like how the tyrannasaurus greets you as you head up on that escalator lol.. I think my niece and nephew would enjoy this, particularly the dinosaur part for my nephew.. lots of fossils and some cool dinosaurs, including the Perot which is the first time I've seen it. Some cool exhibits! They'd like the gems and of course the Pixar stuff! Thanks guys!

The Perot Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas, Texas has a ton of exhibits. And you can try out many activities that deal with the fascinating subject of the natural world. It would also have been very informative to hear about the computer-generated animation process used to create popular Pixar films like Toy Story, The Incredibles, and more.
