It's interesting that on some of those long medium sweepers he doesn't really try to get down to the apex. Just rolls on the power to track out. I wonder if that is a result of keeping downforce up being more of an advantage rather than slowing further in order to straighten up the exit.
These track are so much crazier at these speeds. F1 snobs always give Indy cars shit. F1 are more expensive by a lot but they don't drive on real tracks. They race on perfectly made courses not lie these nutty tracks.
+Run for Ecstasy Its because the camera is filming at a certain frames per second and the wheel is turing a certain revolutions per minute. When they sync up it appears as if the tyre isnt moving as the tyre moves faster it appears to move backwards. This can even happen with your eyes which have their own "frames per second". I hope that makes sense.
+Run for Ecstasy This is also why fluorescent lights are prohibited around machinery: their flashing frequency can cause the operators to think the machine is standing still, whilst it is turning at the same frequency as the light.
