Hey Everyone, Here's Class 3 of Graphic Design Theories. This is 2ND video of 7 parts about Graphics Visual Elements.
In this class you will learn about 2nd visual element of Graphics, that is SHAPE. We have 2 types of shapes i.e. Geometric shapes and Organic shapes which are also called natural or free-form shapes. Then all these shapes can be Positive and Negative. I will show you some good examples of usage of shapes so you can understand shapes and learn how to study an artwork.

There are two types of SHAPES 1. Geometric 2. Organic 3. Negative 1. Geometric Shapes :~ are those which are made by joining the lines like Rectangle, Triangle, Hexagon, Polygons, Circles etc Organic Shape:~ are those Which has no difened bounderies and close to NATURE. Leaf, Tree, etc Negative Space:~ are those which appears When we create a shape and it give rise to another shape after completion. This space would be called a Negative Space. For example : Peter and the wolf, Jungle and cities, Plate and Trees, Cocal Cola and Slipper etc.

You should not watch this playlist if you’re a complete beginner. Instead start with Adobe Illustrator first. Go to my channel GFXMENTOR and go to playlists and start watching Adobe illustrator playlist. Just watch one video at a time and practice until you get it properly then proceed to next video.
