Visual journaling is a rhythm that we have cultivated as a ministry for the last decade. As a community, we have lovingly called this process ‘History Booking’, using this rhythm as a meeting place to cultivate memory, exercise gratitude and reject fear.
Lesson 4 with Creative Director Justina Stevens is called the Found Object Prompt
In our community we have this saying that “you can find God in everything and miss Him in anything”
In the accompanying prompt, you are simply looking for something intriguing - an object that sparks wonder or curiosity. In today’s lesson, we are going to follow that curiosity and invite God to speak to us through this simple discovery.
Finally, this Lesson concludes our current four part series on Visual Journaling. We hope that learn to enjoy the work of your hands, and feel the delight of God over your courage to try something new!
Remember : If you leave a prompt CLOSER to Jesus, it was worth your time!

More on Visual Journaling :
As a Community, each of us have been deeply impacted by the process of keeping a visual journal in communion with the Holy Spirit. Over the years, we have taught this to students and guests of our schools and retreats. Instead of simply journaling words or conversation with God, we have taught others to expand on that same process and use visual terms and methods.
We have found visual journaling to be an amazing way to cultivate stillness and contemplation at home and ANYWHERE you are with the Lord. Ultimately, we want to give you a resource to practice a posture of joy in your sonship and daughterhood before the Lord.
