any user who is facing an error while trying to activate the virtual environment can try again by changing the terminal to cmd instead of powershell. it worked for me

bro that search thing in terminal isnt showing in my terminal insted of that only powershell is showing please tell me how can i retrieve it

Hello why doesn't the box with "1: powershell" appear at the terminal? What is that "1" before the powershell? I hope you answer me . Thank you

i lost the drop down feature where you find the multiple features down key in terminal like option with ubuntu and powershell ,actually

Well if u still have the problem try resetting the settings of vs code It worked for me... Don't know if u had the same problem or not..but actually what happened is that somehow by mistake i clicked 'show tabs'... options inthe dropdown menu.. @@abhikkumarde1053 do you mean you can only see icons tabs on a small right panel? Right click on the panel > Hide tabs and you will get a drop down

This didn't work for me because the current VSCode (v. 1.79.0) doesn't have a "Terminal: Select Default Shell" setting (at least, not accessible via the path you mentioned).

follow the video steps and hopefully you will revert back (use the command palette to modify using ctrl + shift + p or go to view menu and select command palette, then type >Terminal: Select Default Profile to switch
