@@zeeu6502 u have to apply for migration in end of sem 1.they will give you two extra subjects to study in sem2 according to your migration choice.then they will choose the best of the students who have applied for migration.no of students allowed for migration is 2 percent of the total strength in that batch.BTW if you are migrating for CSE then it is a really tough one to make it bcs many apply for that..
Hi bro..you know after the phase 3 I was alloted a seat and after paying the fees, when we checked in the Vit Chennai portal..there was no info about the hostels. So you know how to book the hostels and when will they enable the hostel booking in the portal??
They won't put the option of hostel right now due to covid situation. Even I got admission in vit chennai only in phase 3 cse core. They will tell you once covid subsides.

Dear brother my daugter has got admission incivil eng in 4phase allotmant. In their notification it is noticed that no hostel will be allowed these students. We are from kerala. Is there any chance to get hostel in future? Or otherwise how can we manage the students stay and all? What about the pg, and appartment near by vit chennai? How can we find out a suitable roomate? Will the college authority help in finding? Realy we are worried pls reply
This year the four bedded AC room has been converted to 6bedded room in block C of chennai hostel. It's so conjusted that no place to move and even to keep the table. Request the authority to look into the matter seriously.

Teachers will teach you using their ppts on the whiteboard and then send you the ppts to study from them at home.

mech is not worth it in most of the pvt colleges except bits obviously, and even in govt iits and nits are only worth it, its better in vit then most of the other pvt colleges but not very good for placement, majority of them are places in tcs, but rest is on your brother if he learns stuffs and developes knowledge about the subject then this is the best sub you will be really building stuffs like submarines or rockets

Don't think about these things. VIT is not a local college. Students get admitted through a national level entrance exam so people from all parts of the country are there.

You may take. It is better to go to VIT than to go to any state college. Otherwise if you would send your son to a lower college, you would have to pay for his MBA later anyways.
