A song meditation from the spring concert "Vitae" at Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo, April 27th 2024.
"Vitae" is an improvised song meditation about life. It's a journey through all that life has to offer, the good as well as the bad. Here, we improvise and sing from the heart before moving on to the song "He Yama Yo".
"He Yama Yo" is a chant of unknown origin, but likely originating from South America. The song has been brought to prominence in recent times by the band Curawaka, known for blending world music, indigenous sounds, and spiritual themes. The track is part of their album "Call of the Wild," released in 2019.
